Spencer your stats probably dont match your ability points at all seeming as you put your current ability in first. You have to put what stats you want in first and then the editor will give you a recomended current ability underneath where you enter your ability, that is what your current ability should be. That is also what your value is based on, so you could have one of your players worth the value of a 180 rated player but only because you told the game his current ability is 180 not because he has the stats of a 180 player. Please get him to see this!!!

I'm pretty sure that in a few weeks in game the game will automatically allocate better attributes to Spencer in relation to his current ability

Man I remember doing this kind of thing back in the day on Championship Manager when it had the team/player editor! I made my home town's club which was non-league at the time but started them in the lowest league possible, created a bunch of my friends and family (with ridiculous stats, naturally!) and proceeded to win every competition in English and European football with them! XD Great idea for a series Spencer, look forward to more episodes of this soon!

Spencer you made yourself 17 years old, but your stats are very high so you can start playing matches your player will perform you just need time .. also in the first match where you took Spencer off the pitch at 14:37 you should've took off one of the Central Defenders and put Spencer as a DC and bring in Stevens as a DM. Spencer's rating was 6.7 while both of the DC were 6.3 which is way below average. so Spencer wasn't the problem here, it was the whole defense line. and you should DEFINITELY put Donnarumma as your number 1 keeper, trust me, just give him 6 months as a starter his stats will go WAY UP and his stats and performance will amaze you, and if you're playing with an attacking midfielder position always put Odegaard as an Advance Playmaker (Support), he performance amazingly :)
