You're absolutely free to your opinions. On the other hand, it's also absolutely fair to require consistency. If you think 'Set Me Free' is "corny" (something nobody within or without the fandom has said), you must find the entirety of contemporary American and UK pop videos on the charts insufferable because it's just an endless stream of unambitious, random, cliched, repetitive corniness relative to 'Set Me Free'

I do think a lot of things on the charts are very boo but it doesnt change that with set me free I just didn’t like certain parts / certain parts were corny to me. the music video, choreo, outfits, were AMAZING but i simply did not like how it was sang or rapped in certain parts so it was really strange for me to feel that way about a Jimin song considering i’ve been loving and listening to him for 9 years in BTS. so it really is just that I didn’t like certain parts, its not overall a bad song and definitely has more to it than anything else on the charts I can’t fault you on that HAHAH

@@hasiefjay Fair. In that case, maybe it’s more about clashes with your prior ideas and expectations about Jimin rather than “corniness,” which is a generally used as a very strong term of disproval and disgust
