У нас, причерноморских шапсугов, совсем другие шапочки. Эти кабардинские. И на причерноморских шапочках не изображали мусульманские символы. Их вообще в одежде не носили шапсуги.

Always beautiful. If I could be in one of your productions I would be onstage just for about 30 seconds. Then I would be sent backstage, never to be seen again. I admire the art of makeup for each of the ladies and to this day, the men are amazing, they are able to transition so many moves without making a single mistake. The number of dancers on stage in the dances of the Nalmes group is so high that sometimes I cannot follow the choreography easily, sometimes (as in this slow-paced dance) very crowded dancers do the same movement one by one, one after the other, and it takes so long that I even get distracted while watching. There are actually very nice, subtle and choreographic ideas that the audience will enjoy watching. But with so many dancers on stage, these good ideas are losing their flavor. And the choreography gets really long since the musical motifs are repeated too much in a row, which is a distracting factor. To be honest, their only choreography that I enjoyed watching and really liked is "Adyghe Udzher". Since it is a fast-paced and enthusiastic dance, the crowded dance team and the intense activity cleverly added to the choreography suit this dance very well. It is truly a masterful choreography.

I think it's the camera work. It needs more wide shots and then you can see interplay of the movements. The weaving. They keep cutting in to closer shots and then its hard to tell. Additionally the black background makes some of the men’s movements hard to see as they are wearing black so ‘blend in’ with the background. I have seen this dance performed on another stage, different camera set up and lighting and it was incredible to watch.

The first time I watched the choreography you mentioned, I had a headache for half an hour. :) I don't remember watching something I had to follow so carefully before. Something completely different was happening at every point of the stage. After watching it, I could only admire it. Both Nalmes and Kabardinka are our pride.
