Haskap berry plant cuttings - after one week

I’m learning to take cuttings from plants, and these are haskap berry cuttings, that are just about a week old. Most look great, but some are dried up. The good ones were handled properly, while the ones got too much or not enough of everything.

When you planted these, how wet did you keep the soil? Did you let it dry out at all or was it always decently saturated with water? I'm asking because I'm on a second attempt; after my first round didn't work out too well.

I kept it moist but not soggy. I think I should let it dry a bit more though.

and now, 2 years later, how did they do?

They are still very small.

No haskap update so I assume batch two didn't turn out well either?

Excellent question. Actually about 60% are surviving, but so slow to root as they have been stuck outside in pretty cold weather most the whole time. I’ve finally got new little leaves appearing, but so tiny. Hoping the warm weather starting tomorrow will help. I’ll take some video tomorrow when I do an update.

Also, I’ve been using the planters to hold down my new greenhouse. Yes, my bad. They deserved more care.
