Freudian slip. 🤔 I guess the logic is “let’s keep women from entering a masjid so we don’t face *many other problems* “ Wow- look how *GREAT* that’s worked for the women of Pakistan; for their security. Surely those men who take it upon themselves to create these rules (that always seem to be about…women 🤨) aren’t some of the most perverse in society - no, not at all! 🙄 Somehow the idea of one person (human) telling another person (human) they don’t have the freedom to observe their faith INSIDE a masjid kinda goes against the whole concept of religion and being an Umma. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Please do not confuse, in indo pak subcontinent we follow Hanafi fiqh where women are preferred to pray at home. That is why historically there are no facilities built for women in masajid, this has got nothing to do with our culture. It should change but then there are sharayi reason for that not that its a male dominant society otherwise saudi has far more strict rules for women, its just that they follow a different school of fiqh.

@@uzmamaroof3290 I’m aware of the different schools of thought. If you watched or listened to the statement in the video (to which I was responding) they weren’t refused entry to a masjid for prayer. They were seeking help for something else and were refused entry - period. If you believe that’s not cultural, then that’s your choice. Btw - if I’m not mistaken, even the Hanafi school of thought is that women “should not pray in congregations” - congregations! I have been to some masjids in Pakistan that had a women’s section for us to pray. Moreover, the fact that women can pray at our holiest locations - the Kaaba and Al Masjid an Nabawi, should say something. Women *ARE* part of the Umma.

Our Prophet’s (pbuh) fiqh is above every fiqh and He allowed Women in the Mosque. Women used to come freely and pray in Masjid at His time. India Pakistan and Bangladesh are bidatis when it comes to religion innovations at its peak
