No one will know the pain of Shahbaz Taseer better than me, because two members of my family were abducted by the Taliban and in return we kidnapped three of them from our local highway. For three months we kept the Taliban hidden in a deserted house, they were so scared that every hour every minute and every second they were feeling their death, finally in the fourth month the exchange was done. Alhamdulillah 🙏

So so impressed with Shahbaz Taseer. There’s no way you would read this comment Shahbaz but I really hope you do. We get depressed because of the smallest reasons, and here you are having survived from such a big challenge. Almost 5 years in captivity in no joke.. I often wonder how you coped day to day in those 5 years?! How did you sleep at night? How were you able to sleep? How did you survive without little or no food? How can a human being cope with so much??? Too much?! When does survival mode kick in? How did you not develop a mental illness? How is it possible for a human being to survive the way you have survived? It is unbelievable to say the least. Imagine living at the mercy of your kidnappers, sleeping every night not knowing what the next day will bring. Will it be death? How did you sleep is my biggest question? Here people pop sleeping pills on the smallest reasons when faced with some sort of conflict. How did you manage Shahbaz? I am truly truly stunned. Really so much to say, only if I could meet you in person some day. I want to the meet the person with this much strength. You are a hero! Always remember you are the real hero!
