Architects and designers have always been using the latest tools and technologies to visualize what's on their minds. These tools started from basic level sketches to advanced hand drawings that could showcase the entire building at once with all its details.
But in the mid-20th century, this started to change as computer-aided design emerged in architecture. This created a huge impact on architecture in the 80s and 90s, leading it towards a paradigm shift. And now, with the integration of AI and advanced computational design tools with architecture, another chapter is opening for architects. In this lecture, we'll delve into the evolution of architectural practice from hand drawings to computer-aided design to AI integration.''
