Hasselblad speaks with Hasselblad Award Winner Dayanita Singh

This week, photographer and artist Dayanita Singh received her prize as Hasselblad Award winner - including an exhibition at the Hasselblad Center in Gothenburg, Sweden, and the latest Hasselblad cameras and lenses, including the brand-new Hasselblad flagship X2D 100C.
Dayanita visited Hasselblad headquarters for a tour of the production process of the cameras, and sat down with us to talk about how she got to where she is today and her love of Hasselblad.

What she said about having an inner voice in the back of her head from the beginning, that told her what she should be shooting but not quite fully believing, until three other authority figures confirmed her authentic self many years later, is exactly what happened to me. After that moment, I knew precisely how to succeed in photography. This is the best photographer interview I have seen in years.
