1st Gloves on rinsing of bearings and crank with gasoline
2nd Blow off with compressed air (do not let the balls roll too fast)
3rd Put the ball bearing in a plastic bag and then into the freezer overnight
4th Insert the crank in the plastic bag and then into the freezer overnight
5th Heat the block to about 100 degrees (max 120 degrees) with heat air gun or oven
a tip - a little water to see if it "sizzles"
6th Spray cooling spray to cool bag (let rest for a while)
7th Heat the block a little bit
8th Release bearing straight down into small half
Would a layer stuck halfway
b Tap lightly with a plastic hammer on the outer edge of the ball bearing with an aluminum ring between
9th Released second bearing straight down the large half
10th Heat the stock in large half (layer can withstand max 120 degrees)
11th Drop the crank in stock in large half
a NOTE - Be sure to turn the crank right
12th Attach Kiesler stock installation tool on the crank
a This to align the crank
13th Grease halves with gasket seal
14th Heat half the small drop down on the crank
15th Add controls
16th Clean the threads on the bolts way loctite Partially tighten nyloc to the correct torque XX
17th Check if there is an axial gap
a It should be a little slack
18th Lubricate the crank and bearings with oil
19th Check if the crank rotates smoothly
a minimum resistance can cause the bearings give up within a few Km
b You can use a puller and push the shaft a little (if you pulled too hard with bearing installation tool)
20th Lubricate the seals with grease mount with a piece of pipe
