This new method of grafting mango trees with one bud is similar to grafting, but the grafting technique for making mango seeds is more successful compared to grafting. Although the growth speed of the buds in this mango plant grafting technique is slower than side grafting which uses 1 scion stem such as shoot grafting, it is said to be faster than grafting. There are several advantages to this method of grafting mango trees, namely that it can save budwood if the availability of budwood is limited. Because with just 1 scion stem, it can be used to make around 4 to 6 mango seeds. This could be a solution in large-scale nurseries. Compared to grafting which can take quite a long time to succeed, this insert grafting technique is more effective to carry out. Mango seeds resulting from insert grafting can quickly bear fruit if they are cared for properly. Especially if planted in a pot. Because it has been widely proven that mango trees if planted in pots can bear fruit more quickly than mango plants planted in open fields. Of course, with proper care techniques, plant treatment and fertilization.
