Excellent thank you very much. By the way modpath 7 works fine. But make sure modpath is not installed under the same project folder. Otherwise it won't be able to create a xxx.path data. Otherwise saving in archive folder doesn't work... I might be wrong but I purchased the modpath execute folder with all it's system data into an extra folder on c drive. After that I was able to carry out the same process as shown on this video. Top. My aim is to show she capture zone rather than the particle path. Because I want to evaluate the 50 days traveltime safety zone to the drinking well. I wrote a program like modflow and modpath myself on matlab. I derived the formula according to darcys law and to the dupuit thiem equation for confined aquifer. I modified it after jacob 1963 to calculate with the corrected drawdown. So it allows to use the formula of confined aquifer for a unconfined aquifer and its actually the exact result. Now I want to check my program and compare the values with modflow. Then I'll see if I did any calculation wrong.

If u have a hint how to depoct the capture zone in modflow would be awesome. Is the a way to do it with pathflow on modelmuse
