I have used several different softwares, and this one is by far the easiest to use. Yes there is a learning curve, but moving around and doing tasks are great.

I am hoping that more people share in groups so the word gets around. When I try to select color blend for letters it does not allow the function .

the best way to color blend letters is to use the knife tool on them - you can slice through the letters and make them two colors. You can try color blending letters by breaking them apart a few times, but unless they are large letters, there is simply not enough stitches to make the color blending work.
