Best video of Hatcher pass road. In this video did you go up to the summit and back down the same way from Palmer? And when you said you cannot go over the pass what does that mean?

Yes this video is just the Palmer side. The west side towards Wasilla is a tougher drive. Video of that might be posted in the next couple weeks.

I know you said no RV's and Trailers, but do you think a smaller camper van would be OK on it? Just interested in your perspective

Hi Caleb, we think smaller camper vans & conversion vans are probably ok. Our opinion isn’t a substitute for using prudent judgement and following all posted signs. Also, we just posted the full video/drive from the west side that shows that side of the pass and pairs with this video. Lastly, many rental companies in Alaska prohibit going over the pass on this road, so be on the lookout for that consideration as well.
