The chickens like to eat grass! Also give them grass, peas, fruit such as apple, pear etc. They also need soft soil to bathe in when they need it, otherwise they get parasites. A little green inside. The corn that you gave to chickens was far too large grain, it obviously needs to be crushed. Do you eat large chunks of food by yourself? Too cramped for so many hens and chickens I think. It can be stressful for them.

Hello . Is incubation time long? If the chicks are hatched like this, will they be healthy?

It takes 21 days to hatch chicks whether you use a brooding hen or an incubator. Both ways are healthy. The only issue is that with the incubator, you will have to get a brooder where you would provide light and heat for them for at least 4 weeks while with the hens hatching them themselves, you wouldn't need that because they would provide the chicks their body heat when they feel cold. Using hens saves money but that will mean it will take another month or weeks before they would start laying again.

Where those hens in a brooding state and already covering eggs or their own. My experience has been that most broody hens set upon their own nest And start brooding eggs once they have layed a clutch. I've never seen them respond in this manner.
