Thanks for watching, guys! What would you hatch out if you had the incubator from this video? Let us know 👇🏻

I would really love it to have this incubator. I want to hatch Bantam, but I can't afford a good incubator for this breed as their eggs are expensive and I can't risk cheap incubators. I never won any giveaways in the past and I still don't give up. Hopefully this time I win . I live in the U.S.

I plan to hatch out eggs of the partridge (lat.Alectoris graeca) , one of the endangered birds on the Balkan Peninsula. A year ago, I managed to get eggs from one breeder, and I put them under a small hen, but only a few days before hatching, the hen ate all the eggs😔. So my only way is to get them out with an incubator, because eggs are a little bigger than quail eggs, so my hens are too heavy to lay on them. Thank you for this opportunity and greetings from Serbia! ❤🐣

From North Carolina! Hey my little cousin Ayub who just turned 7 was very shy and wasn’t comfortable around animals so me and my mom went to tractor supply and got him four chicks. He was so attached to them and would play with them all day, but unfortunately he left them out in the sun, and it quickly began to rain. We tried to bring them back to life but only two survived. He was in kindergarten at the time and would cry in school because he missed the chicks. We then gave him a rooster so he could grow up chicks, but it’s been too cold for them too hatch. He would love this incubator, and it would make up for the chicks he lost. He collects the eggs they lay and enjoys searching for them. He would hatch the chicks from the two hens he has and his rooster. :)

Yes why should a mother chicken raise her own eggs when a 7 yr old and a incubater can.
@sunnyjozani84212 жыл бұрын
They're so slender! This breed can be somewhat aggressive, so keep an eye on them as they grow, or consider a different housing situation for them once they get larger than the other chickens. They used to be bred for cockfights (unfortunately). I'm not sure whether it's their general temperament or it's just them being big chickens that makes some individuals among them turn into bullies.

Asil breeds are the same way. When you raise game chickens you absolutely have to keep the roosters in their own areas.

We have had chickens in the USA for two winters. We have always purchased chicks. Now my grand daughter wants to hatch her own after seeing it done in school. We have 1 Rooster and 17 Hens. I was planning this very incubator purchase for a Christmas present. That will give me time to save. But getting one now and having her start in Spring would be a great bonus. I am planning on separating the 3 breeds that we have and putting the Rooster in with his own breed of hens (Black Moran), then also purchasing 2 specific breeds of eggs to hatch. Raising chickens is a great family project. Grandpop (me) gets to build things like coops, pens, waterers, roosts, etc. Grand Sons get to care for chickens and collect and sell eggs. Grand daughter learns and tells us all what to do. I appreciate your channel and you sharing your knowledge and experience with everyone. Please keep it up.

Hey guys!!! Love the channel so much❤️. I'd love the incubator so that I can hatch some australorp chicks. I currently have 13 highlines and one australorp, I rescued her the day she was born. Because for some bizarre reason she was hanging upside down in a MASSIVE tree at the lake that I walked around. So I climbed up the tree and got her. She was freezing because the night before there was a frost and she was wet! So I took her home and put her in an electric blanket (because we didn't have a heat lamp or anything) and ever since then I have looked after her. She is a fully grown chicken now and is healthier and stronger. But she is constantly lonely because there are no other chickens in my flock her colour and she gets picked on by the other chickens. It would mean the world to her if she could have some friends like her! I also rescue other birds like magpies and then release them. I get asked if I can foster magpie eggs, but unfortunately I can't because I don't have an incubator to hatch them. It would mean the world to the birds that I rescue and the future birds if I can give a fighting chance. Even as an egg. 🥚❤️ We live in 🇳🇿New Zealand🇳🇿 and would deeply appreciate the incubator. Thanks guys, you are the best!!!!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I am helping raise my autistic grandson. His mother was left in a vegetative state, from a car accident, when a semi driver ran a stop sign. My grandson LOVES chickens and ducks. And he now understands about hatching eggs. I would love to have this, so we can hatch eggs with him. I can make a homemade incubator, but since they are not reliable, I don’t want to risk that with him. On top of all this, he absolutely loves Pekin ducks. And he had a pair. We paid a lot of money, during COVID lockdown, to get them for him. Well, a neighbors dog got lose, and killed one. And a hawk got the other one. It would be much cheaper to hatch duck eggs than to buy baby ducks. Since his mother is in a nursing home, and I no longer work because of health issues, money is just too tight. I really pray you pick my grandson for this incubator. It would be life changing for my grandson! I can tell you how much he loves chickens and ducks, our Rooster, King, attacks everyone, EXCEPT MY GRANDSON! That is because my grandson has been hand feeding him since we brought him home at two days old. He digs up worms to feed him. And if he finds a bug in the house, he runs out, and gives it to King. It is the sweetest cutest thing ever. He can sit down in the yard, to dig up worms, and all the flock, surrounds him. When he goes outside, they all follow behind him, where ever he goes. He has a swing outside, and inside the house. Daisy, one of our hens, will sit in his lap, while he swings. She will sit there, as long as he wants her to. She has slept in the one inside, with my grandson, more than once. I would really appreciate it, if you gave him this incubator. I can even send you pictures and videos, of him and his chickens. If you pick someone else, that is fine. No hard feelings. Maybe you are just doing a drawing. Either way, love watching your little family grow. Much love, from Kentucky

Congratulations!! Those are technically, giant Asils. Asil is a sporting breed, but due to their physique, Asils [even the normal-sized ones] are also invaluable as table birds, too. While too rare over here, to even think of of just raising Asils for meat, without that meat use, the breed will go extinct. Asil is one of the oldest breeds of chicken in the world, too.

Nope, these are Indio Gigante chickens. They were created with Malay and Shamo breeds among others and were imported from Brazil to sell in the US.
@combinelover89882 жыл бұрын
@@whitehouseonthehill yes, and they are a type of Asil, just as the Shamo are. Shamo come in KO [a bantam type], standard [what I have] and giant, a bird much like yours. When you research Asil, you will find they are one of the most ancient breeds, ever. ALL heavy breeds, including commercial broilers, have Asil in their lineage. The Asil genes gave them their heavy body and brown eggs, although a friendly [non-pathogenic] virus carried by a classic South American breed, caused the blue eggs, in what's now called ''Araucana. Now, when you look at another very old European breed, the Old English Game, you can readily see not only the classic wild red junglefowl colors, but like its wild ancestors, it is a sporting breed. OEGs are light, flighty and lay pale beige to dull white eggs. Malay are an Asil also bred for fighting/meat. Like the Shamo, Malay have a very tall, erect stature. I had Malay until a stray dog breached my fence, 3 years ago. VERY sad. American Malay by and large, have been so bred for show, they have become extremely docile. Shamo are the same way...an ornamental derived from the sporting Asil. Take exceptional care of those chicks, now valued at least $40 each By breeding up, you will get your investment back, many fold, even by selling their precious eggs @ $10 each!

Please tell your 2nd son to be gentle with those chicks!! They are so fragile!! He is squeezing the life out of those poor things, I see him doing it in every video!!!

Hi Jake and beautiful family. I have a love for Turkey's and I found there is a rare breed of white mini turkeys that were bred in the US. I am near to retirement and would love to have 3 to 4 mini turkeys to raise and care for. Thanks for the escape you offer us your viewer's to your home free of the craziness in our country and world. Being raised a farm kid, it really means alot. God Bless you all! C. R.

We would love this incubator as well, please put us in the drawing also (Stratton Family Grygla, MN) ~~ we are working on show quality silkies and satin sikies / showgirls /frizzles and never have enough incubator space. I love silkies because they are so docile and sweet and have become my therapy for my anxiety. Hatching the little ones never gets old, every batch is just as exciting as the first!! Cannot believe how great of hatch you had with shipped eggs, amazing! Great job!

I have tried several different incubators for my birds ( parakeets, lovebirds, cockatiels, etc. and just haven't found THE ONE that I really like. I would love to give this one a try.

When I was in 8th grade I built a small incubator from two wooden worm crates and hatched out some chicks. I entered it as a project in The Ontario Science Fair and won First in the category in General Science. I now am 65, retired and want to raise a few birds as a retirement hobby. Your incubator would get me started very well. I would hatch chickens. Thanks for your KZbin page. I really enjoy watching. Best regard Harold from Ontario, Canada

I recommend most lift stock or plants or fruits and vegetables from Florida is good that grow anything and everything over there. I do delivery and I see miles of all different kinds of crops, trees, vegetation. Plus most of the Florida land is wet if you dig you will find water in some areas. It rains 2-3 times a day plays its always 74 degrees or higher. It never gets lower then 74 and that's night time.

Hi. Just moved a few months ago from Washington state to Virginia. Always wanted acres for our children to grow up on, but in WA land is very expensive. Right now we are very busy building a new life here, but really want to do some kind of an interesting project with our children, in spring we grow butterflies from caterpillars, but this year I'm thinking of something bigger, hatching eggs whould be a something fun.

Hi! I'm from Maine and started raising chickens 3 years ago. I found your channel when I decided to raise mealworms for them. I fell in love with you guys immediately! I went back to the beginning and watched every video. I've actually learned more about chickens from watching you than I did researching things online. I have a small flock of 8 Orpingtons and Austalorps which I'd love to grow. An incubator would be awesome! I really want to hatch my next batch of chicks. I'm looking to get some Lavender Orpingtons, Golden Laced Wyandottes, and eventually some Ayam Cemani. I'm interested in doing a breeding project with the Lavenders and the Ayam Cemani as well.

Greetings from the Netherlands. I’d love to hatch out some Araucana eggs as I have a beautiful rooster now, but very seldom have broody hens. Loved the video guys. Curious to see what they will look like when they grow up.

Love this show farming and raising my chickens is for me the best thing ya know helps keep you distracted from life my mother has cancer and for me it’s stress reliving. But my only hen that will go broody escaped whit another hen and I haven’t been able to find just my luck too right at spring time. But I would use it to distract my self and also to hatch out some red jungle fowl and Batams as I’m trying to breed back a old breed for my great grandma from back when she was a kid so she can see them again. And I live down in Georgia.

I have recently gotten hooked on your channel! I would love to have the incubator, I am in Yamhill Oregon. I grew up on a small hobby farm. And now I live with my husband and and 2 small kids ( age 1,3) we recently got some hatching eggs sent to us and I am using the little giant incubator that I used when I was young! The same one! It’s pretty cool. But I am excited to immerse my husband into this side of how I grew up. He’s gotten really into it so far!! So we would love to get something that may be better than what we have currently, cause I have a hunch we are going to do this many times! Thank you! Sami

I have a huge back yard here in Arizona. I've done this when my children were growing and for their preschool as well. What great memories. My only concern is I tnr a colony of cats that were at my home when I bought it. Our cats never bothered the chickens. Please give me an incubator so I can start again. What joy.

Oh I was just tell my mum I need to restock my flock and am thinking of getting incubator to hatch my own, so my girls (6 and 3) can experience such a amazing even. My daughter has guinea pigs and we breed them she just loves getting to see the babies when they are born. We live in Australia and I'd love to be able to hatch some Araucana chick's and get some colour in my egg collection.
