Interesting to see these in a 120v setup, I see a lot of heating elements on like ptac's that are 240v. These usually give you an 0L reading when they fail?

As you see I didn’t even bother continuity tests or ohming them out. Providing 120 to the element with a complete circuit. No amps. Bad elements.

@@restaurantrepairs Yup makes sense, voltage and no amps = bad element

I’m a restaurant owner for decades. I’ve watching you for a while. Come retire me man. Seriously

Appreciate the kind words…. Don’t knowing you’ve watched my interview about our history. Was a facility manager, completely done with the broken service / owner relationship status quo. Our goal was to create the service company we always wished we could find.. so your words mean more to me than you know. Also…... Have truck, can travel 😎 😂

Any ideas I have pizza warmer hatco heats up then trips breaker?

Put an amp clamp on it and do it again. See if it’s tripping overamps or because of a short. Over amps bad heating element most likely (or runaway thermostat) not over amping find a wire that once energized gets close enough to frame ground to pop. Or…. Faulty breaker but that’s generally last resort
