Like the phase 1 for papyrus having the sprites screwed up, and the animation just being so hard to see whats happening in the lyrics. The sprites were still high quality though, so you can tell they could have done be...wait why am i saying this again?

apparently, f4ky's one was origanally meant to be used in the final build, but most of the devs working on the project gave up on it after the files got deleted. they pretty much just took an older build of the mod, and put some joke stuff in there since apparently none of the team wanted to work on it anymore. (most of the info I got for this was from twitter).

So my theory is that Jelq Man purposefully deleted the high quality build in order to force the team into using the older build because he didn't like how the mod turned out, and since the team was so unmotivated by then they just decided to litter the mod with meme junk in order to troll the director. They couldn't have just "lost the build", and also I think Jelq tried to lie on twitter by denying the existence of a second build.

i'm gonna be completely honest, i think this being a joke mod is kind of lame solely because it just. wasn't supposed to be. i don't get why it was decided to scrap so much of the presentation done to turn it into this,e specially because it obviously had so much effort put into it. what we got is fine and still kind of funny, but man

And the worst part is that even this "joke" version of the mod has actually quite NICE things: Sans' poses are great, his expressions show a multitude of emotions instead of sad at 4 different angles, Papyrus' "design" is pretty neat-looking with him being hunched over and having those weird teeth, his battle mode poses look good, and the artwork of the last section is just amazing imo. That's to say that, it HAD potential, it just SHOWS, and just to think of it, the work was already done, it was all there, just get on with releasing it and let it rain peak, but nope. It needed to be "funny", and one thing if it was, another if it's just crappy pngs and ms paint drawings. Humor is personalized and all, but it's not funny, it just throws one off. Overall, the idea of having something be so bad it's funny is SUPER hit or miss, and this mod missed by a MILE, yet we live in an age where bad=funny and whoever doesn't support that just doesn't getttt the jokeee, loolll. People's time and hard-work wasted, resources wasted, all in favor of the mind ruling "funny!!!!1" that was also, super lame. Sorry for my rantt.

While I like the idea of this Aethos mod being intentionally bad, its kinda disappointing that I had to wait literally the whole year for, respectfully because intentionally, shit. The image made for the song made it look like the mod was actually gonna be high effort undertale aethos, and i shouldnt have waited for so long if the actual mod was gonna be this. The only positive qualitys that I can take from this mod are the sprites that appear during the Alone reference and the sprites after the lyric bit. My hopes were misguided and I really wish they werent. The song is still a banger and i still love the idea of undertale aethos but if you're gonna make the mod mid don't make the visualiser go hard as hell

I just found out all you did is release an unfinished build. Zen0 said it himself, most of these sprites and the mod had potential. Maybe this year, you could just work on readding the sprites? Like a "v2". Same song, actual sprites. Besides, not most of us were happy with how it went. So please, give this an update.
