Hardcore is a really broad genre now, ranging from highly punk-leaning, to thrashy, to near death-metal, and just straight heavy. Bands like Knocked Loose, Gideon, Boundaries all get labeled one way or the other but it doesn't really matter. If you like hard riffs and aggressive vocals I could recommend Kublai Khan TX, Varials, Boundaries, Mugshot, Chamber, Orthodox... just as a few starters. I feel they all have a decent overlap with heavier metalcore without being too polarizing or shocking.

WOW! A f*g Blast! The sound is incredible for a live set! Dying Wish was a great and pleasant surprise when i discovered them like 5 or 6 years ago. I've followed them since, and it's probably one of their best show there on KZbin!
