Echoing the other replies, yeah, sasscore is an anachronistic neologism. I've only ever seen it on Wikipedia, and Blood Brothers is the only band I've heard who it makes sense to call that. This is just what we called "hardcore" back in the day, as in hxc, as in part of the scene--or, if you were ignorant of bands like Fugazi already existing, you erroneously used the umbrella "post-hardcore" (this is back when Myspace encouraged you to come up with 3 different genres to categorize your band, and -core was being added to everything, as basically meaning music with the new type of screaming for vocals and breakdowns.

SYPC has gotten away from the hc scene and broken through in the metalcore scene. Definitely one of the most exciting bands out there rn. I think their first record tried to be too pleasing with the hc audiences in the song structures and riffs but their second release is definitely way more solid all around and the metalcore scene definitely noticed because how can you not? Is everything a lot of us grew up on blended into one
