Couldn't agree more. Strife was my first hardcore show and back in the day that floor and front stage would have been beyond crowded with fingers in the air and everyone trying to sing along. Seems to be a theme with watching all of these different bands at this fest is no one seems to have the intensity and love of hardcore anymore, let alone respect and knowledge of who these bands are. Now I guess its all about who can do the sickest windmill. These bands might still be getting together and playing a few shows here and there but the spirit of hardcore and the community that made it so special seems to be long gone.

@@jonwar833 came back to watch the video again. Still rocks and your comment is correct. Looking back now it’s obvious, even though there are still bands and scenes today, that time back in the mid-late 80s to early 90s was a moment we created and were a part of which had a spirit that thrived for that specific time. Maybe it’s still around somewhere today but to be part of it then was something special and unique.
