Medusa I think people forget the entire crowd is literally assaulting each other to the point it could be considered gbh at times, it’s all self expression. Everyone is different outside of the gig. It’s just a release.

They've done some stuff with WWE. I think just like wrestling when they're on stage, they're in character to entertain the audience

lol, yeah. i didn't really get it myself until i tried doing it myself at a knocked loose show, hardcore dancing is a totally different experience compared to regular moshing. lots of energy and all that good stuff in the pit

everyone complaining about hardcore dancing has never been in a pit other than a sum 41 vans warp tour

man do people actually like slam dancing at concerts even hardcore concerts? most of the pit area is empty and people squished to the sides. regardless of what anyone says it looks like most of everyone is unhappy with people acting like they are having a seizure.
@bladechild24498 жыл бұрын
Slam dancing is fine. As soon as people start swinging their arms and legs like retards as seen here, it becomes stupid. And that's what's pretty much wrong with the entire hardcore seen in a live element.
@OVshyguy8 жыл бұрын
The swinging of the arms and legs like a 3 year old having a tantrum is slam dancing.
@bladechild24498 жыл бұрын
No, it isn't. At least not where I'm from. But the distinction of the phrase is a moot point. Specifically, jumping around shoulder to shoulder, circle pits etc. Arms are only used to protect your own space, not to inflict damage.
@OVshyguy8 жыл бұрын
BladeChild you should watch again. There were several times when retards started and went directly twards the crowd. Protection of space is not the intended pourpse here its to inflict damage or get away with attacking someone with little to no consequences
@bladechild24498 жыл бұрын
I think we're getting wires crossed here. I specifically say I'm not a fan of the dumb stuff going on in this video, except this is not slamdancing. It's what hardcore dancing is in this day and age. Slamdancing, or "moshing" is fine.
