So people know, the lyrics are positive with Hatebreed. It's always about over coming things. Destroying the old and starting better. Don't let the aggressive package fool you, this band is therapy music

""Even an empty threat deserves a response"". A lot of people can't see beyond the name HATEBREED BUT this is some of the most positive and empowering lyrics ever written. They have a song and video for ""to the threshold" and it's a perfect showcase for the message these guys push (Be Strong You Can Do It)

To the Producer: do u think u feel that way abt how the bass & guitar sound is because it's a digital recording & not a concert u r at live? I've been to Hatebreed shows & it does sound/feel different(better) than recorded on digital. My understanding is sound travels & with digital recording sound becomes 'flat'. Thank u if u can answer & thank u for giving Hatebreed a listen!!! 🤘🌟

Hatebreed is one of only two times in my life I had to tap out during the show. It was August in Texas, outside. The security was spraying water on us to keep us from cookin to death. I was against the bar and I couldn’t breathe. I had to have one of the guards take me out. And then I just went and laid down in the shade for an hour.

Most metal… like, 90% has a message worth hearing. I can see how it would turn off people who only listen to rap cuz rap is very lyrics and vocal centric. You asked where we’re from, I’m from NoVa. If you’re from the DMV, then you should have a good idea… it’s about 10 miles South of D.C. where Go-Go first originated from and I remember it being big because that’s when I was just finding it in the early 90’s and I’m hearing all these pop r&b and rap and rock songs, but to a beat that makes you feel like you wanna dance like a Native American around a bonfire and I can actually remember A LOT of the rap world HATING it. I couldn’t figure out why. I’m 41, so I was listening to rap when it went from wholesome professional acts, to a bunch of gangsters pushing the worst messages in our history. Yet it was the perfect time for it. I switched from listening to rap to metal right before I turned 12, haven’t looked back. It’s so demonic now, all pop and rap shows are satanic rituals on their own fans.

Metal is just jazz with distortion. These guys want to destroy everything, but everything needs to exist before you can cleanse it 🤷♂️ “Destroy everything, so a new life. can. begin.” Sound quality is better than Spotify, mad props Lead guitar is like.. 4 chords… this is honestly a pretty tame metal song. Most of it is more melodic. But Hatebreed influenced a whole generation of metal. Is what it is.
