I learned by rotating a cube 45 degrees and then just selecting the top and bottom vertices and scale them down on the y or whichever axis you rotated on

Just use cylinder lower down the amount of tris from the bottom left option then extrude as just scale each one a little bit after that for the top just do a little spin make it look like a circle but not a full circle

As someone who loves swords I was getting incredibly annoyed when you called the crossguard a handle and also made it sloped downwards (makes it impractical, can't catch enemy swords and they'll just slide down possibly hitting other parts of your body) and you also called the pommel a "cool ball thing" lol Still I discovered your channel literally an hour ago. Gotta say your videos are great! Keep learning blender, you are doing great! Also, for the future: If you want to have stuff centered perfectly instead by doing it manually by dragging it like you did here, change the Z and X axis values of objects down to 0.
