You guys need to put the crucifix down in the ghost's home room BEFORE a hunt starts. When it tries to spawn, it will check for a crucifix within a 3m radius. If there is one already down, it will stop the hunt and use one of the two charges a crucifix has.

To be fair though, the crucifix is the dumbest, worst implemented item in the game. It makes literally no sense how it is set up to work.

@@Bluutuber For ghost event i think it is required that the ghost is angery, but not sure. However for everything else it just makes it harder. Saying its name also override any question you might have asked it with the ghost box or Luigi board, very counter intuitive, i know.

Saying its name makes it more likely for a ghost event to happen. Or for it to start hunting. However EMF levels can always spike regardless if the name is said or not. The ghost will move or interact with things regardless if theyre angered or not.

When your flashlight flickers, turn it off and hide by either going in a closet/locker or crouching in a corner. One of the ghosts will stop a hunt when in the light. Only some ghosts will make dirty water in the sink. Also regarding sanity, it takes the average of the groups sanity. The lower the sanity, the higher the chance of a hunt. Also opt into the beta on Steam. A lot of bugs are fixed.

Crucifix only works when you put it on the floor of the ghost's "room" before it starts to hunt (when your lights start flashing) it's meant to prevent a hunt and only has 2 charges so be aware of how much taunting you've done.
