Three women belonging to three different generations have died in one of the worst stampedes in the history of India on Tuesday. Vinod Kumar lost his mother, wife and nine year old daughter. The family is unsettled with the irreparable losses, asks if 'Bhole Baba' was truly God then how couldn't he help avert the tragedy, why didn't he come back to his 'bhakts' when they needed him the most?

Today, 5th July one got to hear the lived story from a family who had lost 3 members Prior to this hour ground report escaped me though I scanned 9 you tube channels based in Delhi. A journalist from West Bengal gets us what till now was just not available & delhi is just one & a half hour away. Is the era of even fact finding teams all but over. Just listening to victims_ as you did_ is psychotherapy, which could prevent post traumatic stress disorder in the community. Telling the family head to now ensure that he is to maintain cool is counselling for the family Your first hand reporting informs the world the actual state of affairs. As you sat in the victims house l felt it was joseph Mallika sitting amongst anti sikh violence victims of 1984 or amit sen gupta sitting with anti muslim violence of 1992 for their reporting. At least the role of indian state was stark then.
