I brought one a couple of months ago did my pellet testing with it it’s true it does need some pellets through it before you get good results, the best pellets I found was believe it or not RWS power balls getting pellet on pellet and it drives them deep into wooden back stop , so don’t give up on this gun it was worth every penny.

Great to see "budget" rifles vs the £2000 kits that we swoon over. Let's knock the snob value of expensive rifles on the head and let entry levels have a say on the basics of accuracy and precision.

I've been lucky enough to have top end ltd edition daystates ,FX impacts,theoben Mfr,s etc etc ,but my favourite rifles to use are old mk 3 bsa super tens, no gauge,no quick fill, and a clunky bolt action , I can achieve the same accuracy with it as I can with an electronic daystate so ,it's really good to see guns like this on the market,it proves you don't need a huge wallet to enjoy shooting.

I bought one in .22 a few months back. I really like it... But... It is a little industrial in construction and needed plenty of bedding in. The barrel needed a couple of tins through it and a light clean before full performance was reached. The valve on the filling port/bottle, not sure which, is prone to sticking but again with use seems to have sorted itself out. Overall good value, and is the 3rd Hatsan I have bought.

With a barrel that long it gives you the option to either shoot or poke your target, plus the size of the cylinder allows you to refill your Zeppelin when it runs flat.

Nice rifle, little heavy for me. Word of warning about the bipod though, letting the legs fly out like that under the spring tension will soon break it, trust me, I've had a few of these, best off pressing the button with the bipod against your leg and easing the legs out, or stopping the legs flying out using your little finger and then easing the legs out..... a hell of a lot quieter too!

So much gun for such a good price! I've had a couple of Hatsan's and they have been reasonable for the money. The quatro trigger is great and works well. Not sure about the overall length of this one, especially if you stick a silencer on the end. I think it would make a good 'hide' gun for the pigeons though what with the huge shot count etc... Great review once again Andy, cheers and keep safe pal.

Thanks for the review. Hopefully the next gen will have a barrel band, no barrel droop, and be able to get closer to what the Avenger is currently capable of doing in regards to group size at 40m. What precision and accuracy can you achieve by single shot rather than clip? The bolt probe usually dings the pellet skirts on these cheaper rifles if you utilize a magazine.

As someone who owns the all black version of this air rifle, I was pleased by your review 👍 I found your experience pretty much echoed mine and yes, the performance and accuracy improved with each shot! While considered a budget airgun, I couldn't be happier with mine and use it for both fun/plinking, targets and pest control 👍👌😁
@GaisaSanktejo
@GaisaSanktejo 2 жыл бұрын
Just a small update from my last post; I recently purchased a gun calibration rest and after zeroing my digital scope in, I fired about a hundred rounds at static targets and the accuracy was INCREDIBLE! It was consistently hitting within 5-10mm (around 1/4 to 3/8 inch) at range without fliers! I could, have and did shoot the firing caps out of used shotgun cartridges at the same range and yes, as previously mentioned, I have used this tool for pest control. I know some people have had problems with this particular model, but I have had none of those, the original accuracy did improve as I ran a couple of tins through it, but I have come to accept this with all airguns I have purchased, so I was quite happy to do this. All in all, I love the Hatsan Factor and would happilly reccomend this airgun to others!

The "budget" manufacturers are now producing good quality affordable airguns. Is a Daystate Delta Wolf, at £2500, really five times the gun? or are we paying over the odds for a Daystate badge? I have a FX Dreamline Tac which, out of the box, was dreadful. It took many hours of fettling to get it to shoot well. Down at my club I'm seeing more and more of the "Budget" airguns compared to the established "quality" manufacturers, and they shoot just as well. I've taken the plunge and ordered a Zbrioa Hortitsia MK2 (£540) by far my cheapest PCP airgun. Very interested to see how it performs against my other overpriced? airguns.

Hatsan put all the goodies on this rifle and then don't put in a regulator (something I'd want with a choke). If there's one criticism I have for your reviews it's that lack of spread figures. A good spread = better repeatability. So please can you start to include them Andy. Admittedly this monster isn't likely to wimp out over the course of a tin, but if pellets are unsized then a choke can bite into the spread.

@@RogueBrit I managed to get the black version (didn't care for fde) and am pleased too, though as you mentioned, the paint finish marks way too easily, hence my idea of using a protective matte laquer

have had some issues with various guns from FX (nightmare) to hatsan (on my 3rd repair/exchange).....im curious, how often do you run into a gun that simply wont group. What do you do when it wont group (cleaning/borepaste/more pellets/polishing paste) etc.....assuming its not a shooter/scope/mount/rail issue

The problem is ( here in the US) reviews from Hatsan owners is that you get no customer service and quality has been an issue with Hatsan

Can it be tuned or is it another disappointment like all uk spec fx? At 11.7 ftlb I'm surprised it managed to break the paper target

What height are those scope mounts and does the large mag get in the way of lowering the scope and further? Otherwise, a nice looking and functioning rifle.

I've got this very rifle and its got a hawke 3 x9 x40 on normal mounts! The sight doesn't touch the mags at all. If like me you're a big lad,high mounts might be better as the top rail to cheek rest distance is low! Not a detrimental point ,just better for comfort! Definitely needs some lead before it settles down,

Hi Andy! I've been watching your videos for quite a while now and I got a gen 4 Glock using your reviews. Is there any chance you could do a review on the KLI baby yaga combat master co2 blowback bb pistol? There don't seem to be any good reviews on it and it would help me a lot. Thanks, moe

Nice rig but don’t care much for the looks of the bottle. Easily fixed with a clip on cover that makes it looks authentic. Send that to Hatsan Andrew!

I suspect it's intended more for FAC levels of power. The length and shot count are probably overkill for UK sub-12ftlbs.

4:57 looks like Hatsan QC isn't that good. The barrel shroud needs to be turned a quarter turn. That would hide the vent hole and put the logo in the proper place. Still, interesting rifle for the money.

Iv heard a lot of mixed reviews on these, some have said they're a nightmare. Have they changed anything since the original model? I really want one! Got a Galatian and it's cracking, I think Hatsan make some good stuff. And some rubbish.
@GaisaSanktejo
@GaisaSanktejo 3 жыл бұрын
I don't know if they changed anything, but many of the reviews do seem to be "fresh out of the box", which, as Andy mentioned, can be a bit of a problem since these seem to work better after you've "broken them in" I own one myself and after breaking it in (I do this with all my rifles), the rifle's been a cracking piece f equipment; accurate, consistent and reliable
