I thought the dream seasons were good, but the space one was great and wished there were more episodes of it. Hell, I kinda wish there were just a couple more dream seasons simply because they were neat ideas to explore the characters in.

I think they overstayed its welcome because at the end of the day, they were in Archer’s head. They wouldn’t be a mainstay of those characters. So, I’m glad they ended them (That being said, I loved season 8)

The pan around the hospital room was so damn touching. I got a bit misty eyed too. The banter was loving, but also in character, so it fit really well.

That season when he wakes up always felt sad to me like being an elementary school and you and your family moves state so you have to go to a another school but then you move back and when you come back everything has changed.

7:19 When Dino Stamatopoulos made the third season of Moral Orel as a drama, AS went for it, even if their executives regretted it. When Shark from 12 Oz. Mouse--I mean Adam Reed wanted to make the eigth season of Archer a drama...they LAUGHED at him? Major bruh moment there. Also, "Otherwise people will think it's just an unfunny comedy"? DRAMEDIES EXIST.

That third dream season is definitely among the stronger seasons of the show in general. All the meta moments in particular were really striking, felt like Archer had to contend with so much of who he has been in all of his iterations, and I love me some great introspection.

"Archer: Dreamland" was one of my favorite of the dream seasons, It was interesting to see Archer in a somewhat noir detective movie setting. And of course I love that Barry/Dutch was in that season, I mean seeing him be transformed into like 20% cyborganic was both awesome and freaky. And it was kinda fitting that Krieger was a former Nazi scientist in that season, Since he was said to be a clone of Hitler. And the fact that Krieger was in charge of starting an army of partially robotic super soldiers also interesting, Though many conspiracy nuts believe that during WW2 Hitler was said to have been using other worldly methods to win the war including alleged time travel experiments and black magic.

Damn, I didn’t even realise the show ended! I remember really liking Dreamland when it came out but Danger Island and 1999 are kind of a blur, then I didn’t watch the next two seasons until I heard the thirteenth was in production.

The ending of Dream Land is a little underwhelming and abrupt because that's how most dreams end; that's genius writing edit: Also the plot goes all over the place and doesn't answer questions because... most dreams are like that.

I still need to finish the last season but I also don't want too... I really don't want this show to end. Archer was one those show I came across while in college and my life was being flipped upside down, it made me laugh during dark times. But I think I'm going to do a full rewatch some time next year. Also I wasn't the biggest fan of the dream seasons but I did enjoyed more than I thought. One of my favorite thing about Archer is the art style and the dream seasons was just beautiful.

These seasons are so underrated.(they might actually be my favorites, especially danger island) I wish they did more of these like if there was a cowboy season, a pirate season, a fantasy season. This cast could literally be put anywhere and it’d be entertaining. But I get why they only did 3 it’d be sad if Mallory’s actor died while archer still in the coma.

The dream seasons were so weird to me. On one hand I loved the spaced themed 1999 season. I've always been a fan of space so I was excited for that season. It was by far the best one. The other two were personally not my favorite. They weren't bad but I don't tend to watch those genres. Dreamland was good but I got a bit bored midway through. Thats mostly a personal thing since I'm not a fan of the Noir genre. Plus it was a tad too serious for me. Danger island was more fun for me, especially the end. I love Pam, so having a full season of her in front was fun. However, at that point I was getting tired of the dream stuff. Some of those dream episodes really dragged on. I loved how each season explored a different relationship in archers life. I also loved how they took risk and tried new things. I do think 3 seasons of dreams was a bit much considering the massive cliffhanger. Thats like 3 years of not knowing what happened to archer. But either way I like the dream seasons. They were a ton of fun even if it didn't always work. Good job on the video. Its a fun topic to talk about.

I remember when these seasons came out and being excited for them. My favorite is Danger Island because I love Pam and Archer together so much in that one. I think Dreamland looks the best and 1999 is the best.

One interesting idea for the dream season that would add a layer would be how the cast could have this collective dream between Archer and the other which could explain some of their character.

I remember Dreamland blowing me away the first time watching. It was also the first time the show dropped uncensored "F" bombs - one for every episode, like a PG-13 movie. Dreamland was definitely my favourite of the dream seasons, but I think we all know Danger Island Pam is best Pam.

I really liked Dreamland for taking a chance in a similar way to Archer Vice, completely restructuring the characters, but after that the dream seasons very quickly lost their charm

I think they were okay, but went on too long. I feel like 2 coma seasons would have been enough. The whole show kind of ended on a whimper, but at least they were able to wrap it up with no cliff hanger

Yeah I knew out of the 3 I was excited about the sci-fi stuff. I’m the opposite I love sci-fi stuff that’s why I got into Steven Universe because the gemstones were an invading alien species.
