This is still my favorite Magical Mirai concert video simply because how you can hear the entire audience singing along. It’s the most in unison I’ve ever seen for a whole crowd in a concert.

This song is making me bawl my eyes out and I barely understand why, it just sounds like I've heard it a million times before even though I just found it yesterday. Actually, I've been rediscovering vocaloid in general recently. I was a MASSIVE Miku fan back in middle school, but after a few years I dropped her for the same reasons said in this song, people made fun of me for listening to "fake" music not even in my language. "Weeb" was also a popular insult at the time, lol. So I just stopped listening. I'm 23 now, and just the other day decided to buy PD MegaMix for the nostalgia factor (it was a childhood dream of mine to play a project diva game one day) and I got so much more attached to the game than I ever expected, and more than that, my love for Vocaloid is healing. I know this is a trope, but I genuinely feel like a kid again, discovering all these new songs I missed out on because I caved to peer pressure. I caved to a LOT of things as a kid, was scared to show my actual personality and never learned how to make friends because of it. I feel like I missed out on many things in life, not just the culture around Miku. But when she sings "Hello" in this song it just makes my heart crack. It's like seeing an old friend, it's like she's singing to celebrate my adult self and the person I became, despite being so lost for so long. Idk, it's 2 AM and I'm fucked up. Part of me knows nostalgia isn't worth crying over, but my dumbass heart doesn't care. Miku represents a huge part of my childhood, and I feel silly that I ever repressed it. Not sure I ever truly stopped being a fan though, because I feel as much joy listening to her songs now as I did so long ago💗

Same boat bro, I listened to Miku in middle school into early highschool until it was deemed weird and not real music by those around me so I stopped listening to vocaloid for years until last year and now I have a playlist of over 800 vocaloid songs (new and old) and its just as good as I remember and I am sad I found myself out of the loop of the community as vocaloid has come so far in the last few years and I missed it but now I am back to enjoy all that I missed. I find it funny because I am a 23 year old bearded guy who is usually very stoic but vocaloid somehow brings out that caring soft spot in me whenever I listen to any songs as their topics and lyrics can reach deeper than most english songs in my eyes. Glad to see someone whos also returning to their love of the music and community like me.

Me pasó igual. Saludos.

Westerners are really strange people. They have nothing to say to people who like Disney or Hollywood, but if you say you like Japanese culture, they'll call you a weeb and bully you. Why don't they call Disney lovers Westaboo? Westerners bully anyone who deviates even slightly from the Western norm, and Western diversity and freedom are fake.

How is that humanly possible that Miku can sing and dance with that huge volume of her hair and her heels.... But thankfully she's not dancing with a stilettos.... Girl be careful with your feet!!!

(Link to an animation that fit the song incredibly well) kzbin.info/www/bejne/l16xl2aHiquehbc The characters look like sisters. This’d make for a perfect anime. Two sisters who had to split apart because one became an idol and the other had to move away for her education and a few later she got an anonymous letter with a location an item that made her think of miku. Only to reunite with her sister after years after her last performance.
