Hatsune Miku phenomenon is a very interesting research subject in the history of the Internet. This is a miraculous case. Well, that video is the most famous live video of Hatsune Miku in the world. This video was used when various media around the world first introduced Hatsune Miku at that time. This concert, titled "39's (Thanks) Giving Day Project DIVA presents", was held at Zepp Tokyo in 2010 and is actually the first full-scale Hatsune Miku concert (before this a poor small concert was held experimentally). It was held on March 9, in honor of the two different pronunciations "39 = miku" and "39 = thank you" in Japanese (Miku, BAND-MAID, also uses the number 39 quite often). Initially, the event was scheduled to be held only in the evening, but due to a rush of applications for the advance reservation, the afternoon session was hastily added and the total number of participants was 5,000. The concert was completely backed by the game company SEGA, and the backing band was also gathered by top class recording musicians in Japan (It's the same case as "Kamiband" in BABYMETAL. They also held their own live performances later under the band name "The 39S". This fact is also common to Kamiband. Of course, they arranged all the songs.). So the performance is great. And some of the producers of the song were invited to play with Miku on stage as their song was played (probably a miracle that was unimaginable at the time they wrote the song). The number of songs played is a whopping 39, after the Japanese pronunciation of "39 = Miku" (which is why 1 song is short. However, some songs were played in full.). The concert is considered a legend among fans and is still considered the most popular. This song, the last song, was played in full because the producer himself received an invitation. Incidentally, the producer is not an amateur but a professional musician, which is rare for Hatsune Miku's songs. You can see him playing the keyboard for a moment. It's an early song, but I really like this song. Miku up until the obvious lock down had been to london on pretty consistent yearly basis. Just had a london concert couple of months before lock down as did babymetal. Missed them both myself.

Yeah, one of the most famous songs where Hatsune Miku was used. Sort of a manifesto for Vocaloid. "I am the first and foremost Princess of the World! Bow down before me!" And the song is very good indeed. Lots of styles combined, from pop to rock, catchy tune, brilliant performance.

@@davidtollefson8411 Vocaloid was my gateway to Japanese music. I started listening to the metal Vocaloid bands, of course, like Yuyoyuppe and Utsu-P, but some pop stuff is also very great, like Yucha-P with "Poker Face."

As I begin to fall down the vocaloid rabbit-hole, I,was wondering about the metal side of it. My musical partner and I downloaded vocaloid 6 yesterday and began adding voices to our heavy space rock. We've also incorporated some Taiko drums, so things are "turning Japanese" for us!

I'm not awfully familiar with Hatsune Miku, but I can recommend some famous songs. I don't know much about recent songs :) There is Hatsune Miku who sings punk rock. The song was written for Hatsune Miku in 2011 by wowoka, the vocalist of professional rock band "Hitorie". He is an intelligent man who graduated from Tokyo University, the highest university in Japan, but he died in 2019 at the age of 31. It is interesting to compare original sound source and live arrangement. wowaka - Unhappy Refrain feat. Interestingly More than half of the most powerful pop music composers in Japan have used Vocaloid to make music Kenshi Yonezu (Highest Viewed Number of Popular Music in Japan) E ve (Japanese pop music top 100 ranking second only to Kenshi Yonezu) YOASOBI's composer Ayase (only one year after his debut, he was invited to participate in Japan's largest New Year's Eve concert) This is a very special music culture, although Vocaloid is difficult to accept most But these special music brought Japanese music to the top in other ways

Great to see you keep enjoying the extraordinary entertainment of Hatsune Miku concerts. Though, I wonder if you already listened to some original songs that are not live? Where the focus is only on the music and (if there is one) the video, but not the band, because usually there is no band.

I also recommend Goodbye Sengen (Goodbye Declaration) Which is the most viewed vocaloid song on youtube currently, thank you for making these!!
