What's Vocaloid? en.wikipedia.or...
It seems I'm back on familiar ground, uploading various national anthems. :D This song was no request. I personally happen to like this former Russian anthem and wanted to make a Vocaloid version of it (Mutters: now if it wasn't for the communist coup back in 1917, they might still be performing this beautiful anthem in Russia). :D I really should get a proper male Vocaloid! It would certainly add a little bit of color to this choir consisting only of Mikuos.

Development history: Almost right after I had finished the Greek national anthem, I started working on this song (Nov 5th). Most of the notes and lyrics were finished in the first couple of days. The hard part was making Mikuo sing as passionately as the reference choir I listened to. I did slight adjustments during the following two weeks whenever I could, but most of the fine-tuning was done today. It took me about 3-4 hours. If anyone's interested, I used the following parameters for Mikuo: (BRI:127, GEN:106). Making a raw wave file with Vocaloid was painstakingly slow this time as the rendering process was glitchy (strange cracks in the voice). Everytime the rendering failed I had to render the track again. It took a whole hour to produce a good sample. I imported the wav-file to Audacity and added some reverb to the song. Finally, I compiled this video with iMovie. I wonder how I could prevent that strange flag vibration from happening. Apparently, I still don't know how to use iMovie! :D
