my father had a boat like yours when i was growing up and the hum of the engine would always put me to sleep when i was a kid miss those days

...made same run. I docked at marina next to where you stayed, current was strong at times, stayed a week there....I went all way to Maine...57ft center line, 62ft OAL, single-handed. Did about 12k nm, liveaboard 3 years. I stayed offshore until Mayport, couple long nights, next in was Beaufort, SC. Ran ICW to Norfolk. I loved that time of my life. Would have been nice to have someone with me, so many times seeing such beautiful things and nobody to turn to and say "isn't that something".

Oh okay thank you!

I actually wish they were 71s. I never go on plane, so I do not need the horsepower. I would rather get better fuel economy.

That’s a good point I wonder why they were installed?

I am completely amazed on your trips that you have been documenting. When you went through the Florida locks by Port Canaveral I live 15 minutes south in Melbourne Beach and have a view of the river and see some of the bridges you go under are right down the block from my condo love your videos. Safe sailing. 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Great series sofar. I grew up in Coral Springs Florida and I surfed and dove at many of the places you are visiting. Last spot I ever surfed was Sabastian Inlet. Thanks for sharing.
@tryingnottosink91075 жыл бұрын
Lots of current at that inlet. It will spin your boat on the ICW if you are not careful. We are glad you like the videos!

Trying Not To Sink ....It shows ...its so refreshing to see powerboating, nowadays it seems all boating videos are sailing vessels. What is the range, bei my a Hatteras I'm sure she's trans Atlantic capable. Trident is a beautiful yacht...oh, im the guy who bought the Maserati😎😎😎...please continue to post, your wife is a excellent first mate...and if you feel like singing, be my guest it's all in a good days journey..good day mates...see you on the water
@tryingnottosink91076 жыл бұрын
That is one reason we decided to post, all we could find were sailing videos. We have a 500-550 range with 800 gallons in two tanks.

I like your video content but your microphone seems to be picking up a lot of background audio which makes what you both say difficult to hear. You might want to consider adding a lapel microphone to get closer to the speakers mouth which would help. Wireless would be best if you are planning on doing a lot of this sort of content.

Thanks. We broke our video camera about a week into the trip and were not able to use our Rode Mic. Much of the trip was filmed with a broken camera or my smart phone. We used to own wedding videography company and rh the quality kills me. We hope to step it up next season.
@crikycrocky7 жыл бұрын
Ouch, that must be a pain. I have a Rode myself, awesome mikes and value for money. You mentioned the photography business in a previous vid but not the video side, which explains the excellent video production. Keep up the good work, I have enjoyed the content of what I have seen so far so looking forward to more.

Tell us the difference between the 40 ft you had and the 58 you now have. You started to tell us last video but we need details. We watch these videos to get information. Please I dont know you and wont tell anyone. You sold your old boat for XYZ you put another $150,000 in and was able to get 58 ft. the cost to operate the 58 compared to the 40, that type of information. I dont care if its raining.

Well aren’t you a pushy little troll... smh
@lylel57077 жыл бұрын
Please do not start singing, your wife loves you and won't tell you. Everyone in the south thinks they are a back up singer for Jimmy Buffet. Just keep it about the boat. tell us what it cost to park a marina and what you get for that. Pool, hook ups, wifi, that kind of thing. Just dont sing
@trafalgar19387 жыл бұрын
Just looking at this video and was about to ask the costs of the marinas. Obviously will not all be the same. I see it is a twin screw and having one engine out I was not aware you could overuse a bow or stern thruster . I do know you only need to use them seconds at a time so did you operate them for minutes or so?

Lyle L., have you paid for any part of this mans trip or his boat? Do you have some sort of legal contract where he owes you any information whatsoever? Then STFU! He paid good money for his boat and can video himself enjoying it however he wants. Troll indeed. Go annoy someone else.
@gohan4406 жыл бұрын
Please don't start commenting on here. I've got no problem telling you that your soul-sucking personality should stay well clear of people. You want the cost of parking at a marina? Try googling it.
@rideswithscissors5 жыл бұрын
The time I spent all around that area, WPB. But you were actually on Singer Island in Riviera Beach. I am not familiar with that marina.But the Grator Gator store is still there, ready to make a nice sandwich for you to take to John D. MacArthur State Park.
@tryingnottosink91075 жыл бұрын
The marina was nice but it was tough to get in and out of, at least for us.
