I'd recommend Skullcap Snail or Unscrupulous Agent over Burglar Rat since they Exile the card instead of Discarding it. Makes it so you aren't helping out the Graveyard decks. They do Target whereas the rat doesn't, but nobody is really playing the cards that give themselves Hexproof, so I don't imagine that would matter.

I get that, as a KZbinr, Swayze has to climb the ladder as hard as he can, but I actually avoid it. I've gotten into Mythic a few times, but it's boring at the top. Once there, you pretty much only see the same top-meta decks over and over again. There's much more variety to be seen in the lower ranks, so I will play sub-optimal decks, or even deliberately throw games if it looks like I might rise past Diamond. Mix it up and play for fun if you can. Winning really isn't everything.

I only play unranked now because I would rather play jank/original brews instead of climbing. You’re so right. The variety and fun is better than the winning. That being said, I see top meta in unranked but if I don’t want to play that match I just scoop and go again lol

There is minimal difference between any of the ranks. Same meta decks over and over.

Personally I always just climb a bit casually for the boosters and mostly play unranked for the fun.

I'm curious if a Raise the Past version of the deck would work with like... Sanctifier and Starscape Cleric. Also, I'd probably replace the Simulacrums with Charming Scoundrel and run a few Split Ups.

Fear of Immobility, Etali, Gruff Tripplets, Hivespine Wolverine, Lumra. Reclamation Sage, Roxanne, Sandstorm Salvager. so many good cards that can be bounced. Wonder if there is a creature that destroys flyers when it enters.

Wouldn't rat be preferable against mono-red? You already have a lot of cards in hand, and opponents' cards seem to be more valuable in the match up

I forget the name, but there is an instant speed sweeper for 6 in white that would likely do work without compromising your own units in a deck like this

Not sure sheltered by ghosts is the answer... running an aura spell in a deck that focuses on blinking seems counter-intuitive

I would replace Helpful Hunter with Combat Thresher. For one more mana you get the double strike and it becomes a 3/3 when bounced back in from the Resolve.
