I have a more mid-range version that I've been running that runs Mischievous Mystic and Proft's Eidetic Memory, as well as Enduring Innocence as a starter for the Homunculus (makes a decent 3 to 4 Curve too, if it lives). I totally missed the synergy with Deduce being a good off-turn Draw 2 with Caretakers, as well as the Three-Steps. I don't know how I missed those, so thanks for bringing them to my attention. Something I thought of while watching this is that Temporary Lockdown just happens to miss all the important things that this deck casts. The Homunculus Copies also copy the 4 mana value. Then, I could also run a high-end Board Wipe like Restricted Office (one of the rare Room cards that destroys power 3 or greater) or Expel the Interlopers to wipe out stuff BIGGER than the Homunculus, and then there'd only be a handful of threats that slide between those 2. Did you already try out any of that stuff? I'd love to know if it's a dead end.

For anyone wondering what the chances are of having all 4 Homunculus at the bottom in that game 3: Hard to tell exactly how many cards were left in the deck, but it looked like about 20 when you were checking it before finally drawing the Homunculus with the Deduce. I ran through the scenario with ChatGPT and it looks like the probability is 0.9936%.

Super fun deck, highkey though I'm happy to see other people get screwed by their deck like what happened in that second game cause i thought that kind of stuff only happened to me LOL. I was playing a reanimate zombify deck with 10 different bombs to be zombified and i cycled through half my deck without hitting a single one before i just died. I was going insane that game

Scrawling crawler! Draws your second card every turn and secondary win con by pinging the opponent for drawing a card. Plus it's an artifact so can be copied with three steps ahead and season

Played against a similar deck. Had 4 Authority of Consuls down so they couldnt do enough damage to knock me out, it was a 45 minute stalemate since I play Doll Makers Workshop and Mondrak/Doubling Season.

Im sorry but your deck idea is great but your deck list is TERRIBLE ! Heres what I would say. Run hinterland sanctifer for life gain turn one, turn three enduring innocence and turn 4 homunculus. This way the moment you play it it automatically triggers both cards and you make the copy and gain life. And not running opt for 1 mana is crazy. Throw in roaming throne and faerie mastermind and you essentially have an infinite army. Add in more protection and you got a better deck

It's just Azorius control with Jace & some draw cards swapped out for Homonculus and Caretaker's Talent. But yes, Enduring Innocence is perfect to trigger the Homonculus.
