I have several Style Arc patterns ordered through Etsy and I love them! Their directions are not vast but the end results are gorgeous. I hope you enjoy them, very fashion forward. Your pattern is the actual paper pattern and I usually trace my size off. Now that GertrudeStyle dress is one I’ve even meaning to purchase, love it❤.

Yes I will enjoy using the Style Arc patterns I know it may be a challenge but that's okay I think that Gertrude style is a nice one also.

Thank you for sharing. I have all of those Butterick patterns and can’t wait to make the skirt in a leopard print twill fabric. I bought and made some Style Arc during the pandemic during the height of the pandemic during isolation. The directions are a learning curve and definitely not for the faint of heart lol. I have 5 of my Style Arc have become tried and true patterns that I have multiples of and continue to go back often. I can’t wait to see your creations.

I have never purchased any patterns from the independent pattern companies. I caught the Butterick sale at Joann's. I bought Butterick B6294. It is a Lifestyle Wardrobe pattern. Shirley I like your style.

I wish I had your creative eye for things. The patterns look plain to me, but I know you will create something fantastic with it. You have an eye for beautiful fabrics. I just noticed you had a serger on your table. Is that the only machine you sew with, or do you also have a regular sewing machine also. Have you given a tour of your sewing room?

I tried butterick 6826, I am only 5ft 2 ins but I found the jumpsuit came up very short. The waist too high. Crotch also too short. I didn't complete it.

Oh yeah was it the wrong size maybe you need to get another size and try it again.

No please don't cut the pattern. Trace the size you are going to make and keep the original in tack

Sera that is what I do ,sorry if you misunderstood me I really don't have to trace my patterns because I like my clothes bigger anyway but if I had to get a smaller size from the pattern then I would Trace that size out. 🙂
