I had a first-world scare last week when trying to order a Circus powder back-up. Indeed the brand site does not show the powder at least not to us in Finland, and Chic Decent only had the "colored" one. But I visited the latter mentioned website again today, and now they had both shades. Phew. Order placed immediately. :) Edit: I am light skinned 48-year-old and have a combination skin, if anyone is looking for reference on the powder. It is lovely on mature undereyes!

The watermelon shade in house labs is very pigmented so go in with a light hand if you get it. It’s a beautiful color and blends out beautifully. Love the fantasy cosmetics palette

Hi Tara, Synthetic fluorphlogopite (the ingredient you called out in the Haus Labs blush) is actually synthetic mica. Having a synthetic version helps avoid the issues associated with mining natural mica (for example, the environmental impact or having child labor in mines). I’m sure there must be trade offs, but I’m not an expert. 🤓 Hope you’re having a great weekend! 💞 I always enjoy chilling with your content on Saturdays. :)

Just a thought... unfortunately a lot of the brands that are being sold at Wal-Mart are counterfeit - if walmart isn't listed as an "official" reseller...I don't buy products from Wal-Mart anymore. When they expanded their website to allow 3rd part resellers to sell use their website ( I think this just started during cv- era when many stores where closed) maybe this practice started earlier but I know here in Canada, that's when that started. Anyway, I have ordered a few things from Wal-Mart and Amazon and knew that the products were off. Then I contacted the brand and they said yup, there had been a lot of complaints and those vendors are not official resellers, so, you take a chance (a high probability) that the product is counterfeit. :( just a thought...if you order it from Ulta and there is no problem with the product, this might be what is going on with the ones you got from Wal-Mart.

Everyone talks all the time about Olaplex, but I think Gisou is superior. Their hair oil you can put on dry hair and it doesn't weigh it down and is fresh in the am. Plus that hair perfume is so nice. My husband loves it. I'll have to try that leave in conditioner after we move.

I was definitely intrigued by the kosas illuminator because I love the auric glow lust as well as the tarte shape tape glow wand (they're super super similar products but totally different packaging). It doesn't sound like I'd enjoy the kosas so I'm glad to hear your thoughts!

Tara I am from uk and you will need to find an alternative to Lottie London wax, they have definitely discontinued the tinted version. I have purchased several from other companies selling it but they are all loose in the pan, dried out or messy. Hope you can find an alternative ❤

Hi Tara ❤️ Catrice came out with a 'corrector' that's a light pinky apricot color. I think it would resemble the lychee benefit concealer that you love (based on your swatches). If it's in the US already I think you could check it out! Nice coverage, emollient, bendable and works well by itself or with another concealer on top ✨

It does cling to dry patches so I don't use it all over my face (I'm usually oily, but can be combo with dry patches if I have been overly aggressive with my active skin care lol)

Have you tried the Patrick Ta Major Lamination Brow Gel yet? I remember you tried the brow wax and it didn't have enough hold. The lamination gel is NO JOKE - there is nothing on this earth that will hold your brows like that brow gel. I have blond brows so I go in with the wax, or any other tinted brow gel in a colour that suits me, and then go in with the lamination gel and I'm telling you, a hurricane could not budge my brows. That stuff is like rubber cement for your brows - in the best way. If you are looking for absolutely budge proof hold, you MUST try it.

If you are going for the full laminated look, I recommend back combing and then sticking them to the skin with the flat side of the brush applicator. It's designed specifically for that but a lot of people don't use it that way for some reason... 🤷 But it's the best way to get that budge proof hold! Also, there is not a huge amount of playtime like there is with a regular wax. You kind of have to just slap it on, comb it through, and stick em down without fussing too much, but once you do, you seriously will not have to fuss about your brows until you take them off at the end of the day. My brows breakout too, but I've been using this for a couple of years with no issues! I think you're going to love it! 💛

I know EXACTLY what you mean about needing depth in your crease shades, because I have the same problem with my puffy hoods making my eyes look tired and just not cute. I'm definitely going to get that Fantasy Cosmetica Rogue palette, because that eye look you're rocking has me sold on it! Since we both suffer from watery eyes, and we both have super hooded lids, I was wondering if you have any suggestions for something that even my Alien acid tears won't break though thereby ruining my eyeshadow looks? Do you ever apply blush with a powder puff? I saw someone on Instagram doing that. Well I guess you'd need a brush to blend the edges. But I bought one of those Too Faced blushes and barely any showed up. But it was probably the blush. I only use synthetic brushes so that can possibly limit today the amount absorbed in the brush.

@@Tarababyz The Droplette experience has been interesting. I was super excited about it when I first got it. The 2 downsides have been: 1) The capsules are so expensive. For example, each Glycolic acid treatment is $3.33 (if you buy capsules 12 at a time w/o any discount). That's way more $ than using a typical GA toner. So I find myself rationing everything, defeating the purpose of using it consistently! 2) I get mentally anxious about inhaling the mist, so I hold my breath a lot while using it! I started doing this specifically because the GA mist made me cough. They warn of that possibility for GA specifically, but say it's perfectly safe to inhale any of the mists. So the experience isn't quite as calming as I was expecting it to be. I'm going to keep using it, but because it's typically only 1-2 times weekly, my results might not be as fast as they could be. I wish I had considered the ongoing costs, rather than just been swayed by their 40% sale when purchasing the device and starter packs. 🤷🏻‍♀ Perhaps you could share your OmniLux experience with us at some point. I saw Angie's (Hot and Flashy) review of it a few years ago and I'm curious what you think too. 🤗
