I've tried to stay cool about designer bags, but that vintage Chanel bag - wow, such a beauty! And it stands out in comparison to the most popular Chanel bag designs. And that wallet was a great bonus. The Chanel jacket was beautiful too - absolutely universal and timeless.

❤️ I agree that these vintage bags tend to be some of the better designs I’ve seen. They appear to be built to last too! I’ve seen some of the more current bags up close - the seasonal ones - and the quality of the leather feels different. And the jacket - also a rare find that’s longer in both the length and the sleeve. They tend to be cropped with bracelet length sleeves. So I’m in love with it 😍

I collect vintage sewing patterns, and to get rid of lingering mustiness, I wrap the pattern in tissue paper and set it in a zip lock that contains half a box of baking soda. I let it sit for a week or two. I wonder if that procedure would work to help remove the old leather smell. Maybe also store with a rose or lavender sachet inside.

I love my airstraight! But my bathroom has a sort of haze when I’m done using it. Not sure if it’s from product or just the wet hair but I hope it’s not damaging my hair 😊

Oh wow 😮 I wonder if that’s typical depending on the level of dampness & volume of hair. I usually keep the bathroom door open since it gets warm whenever I use any kind of drying tool - so I haven’t noticed that myself, but I’ll keep an eye out. I love the results - so good ❤️

Wow, gorgeous Chanel bag! Did you say the model name? I didn't catch it. I just picked up a Chanel chocolate bar bag from 2000, from a seller in Japan, and love it. I buy a most of my bags resale, and although I haven't had a problem with scent so far, I've read that people have had luck with charcoal sachets. Put one in the bag for a few weeks & it's supposed to absorb the scent. Good luck!
