Heck yeah! that's great to hear. The people who work at swift, in my experience, are awesome. I'm based out of Columbus so your mileage may vary. As long as you can go with the flow and are flexible it can be a very good company to work for. I've had some less than stellar experiences but there were extenuating circumstances so it's not a reflection of the company as a whole. Good luck with the application!

@@BeenOntheRoad I definitely understand! I've been trucking on and off since 08.. my most recent company was Knight who, I believe, owns swift.. so I'm sure it'll be similar.. Knight asked me to come back but I hated doing Publix deliveries lol..

I've thought about switching to knight since there is a terminal like half an hour from my house. as opposed to driving like 3 hours to get home from my terminal

@@BeenOntheRoad right on 🤙 I don't have much bad to say about them.. besides doing Publix which really wasn't that often, my only problem was with my DM.. he didn't listen to any of my preferences, and was absolutely terrible about getting me home... I was always home 3 days or more after I asked to be.. and he'd start texting me after only 1 day asking if I'm ready.. even if I earned 3 or 4 days off 🤣🤣... I was going to switch DMs but ended up finding a new opportunity and took a break from the industry all together... if you're in the Midwest though you'll get an entirely different terminal manager and DM pool 👍
