Cool video... But it also would've been awesome to hear the tour guide explaining everything.

Originally I was going to do that, problem is the video would have been 30 min long. Not sure if enough people want to hear everything. I could always upload an uncut version.

ok the sculpted head that they do a close up on I'm glad they liked it because it took forever to sculpt it. Believe me I'm the one who made it.

Different people are scared by different movies. For instance, while I love "Sweeney Todd" (one of the films showcased), I am terrified of Jurassic Park because I am afraid of dinosaurs. That being said, you are right about copyright. If they are charging people to get in, they shouldn't place movie titles or photos around the haunt, but they can find other ways to showcase each film so it is recognizable without blatantly placing the title in random places.

I Always wondered that the owners of this houses can like never make enough profits out of this.Because i mean you got a lot of paid actors, expensive props, dressing of the scenery VERY expensive animatronics etc. Maybe these are stupid questions in your eyes, but from over here in the Netherlands we have NONE of these haunted houses sow it is hard for me to imagine that there can be made any profit out of this,i know that there will be a lot's of money making in this scene because America is full of this great houses. I wish we had some here just like America, love to go and see maybe some time, greetings from the netherlands

I volunteered at this haunted house for about 3 years its been up and running for many years because we have had so many that want to come see the new attractions. there were no paid actors, the props and scenery were made by a lot of the volunteers helping out with the house. most of the money that was made at hangmans haunted house was donated to amazing charities!

DeadAndRotten CREEPYLoVeR I work at one. Technically voluntary work at a haunted house. This is my 5th year. Like what Heather said before, a-lot of actors don’t really get payed by the hour. If your lucky, some haunts will award their actors 20 bucks every time they show up to help out. Majority of the props and scenes were either made by the actors or the owners, and some where bought at auctions and places like Trans World. Trans world is like a halloween store on drugs. Unfortunately It is not for the public, it is only for those who works at haunted houses or owns a few. These props and sets can cost over thousands of dollars depending how big and detailed you want your haunt to look. Haunted houses are like big art pieces or art projects. It is very fun to work at a haunted house, but it can get tiring when you have to scare over thousands of people in one night. You will be dealing with a lot of different type of people in one night. Some are fun to scare, others can be annoying, but what I normally like to do is to entertain those who are hard to scare, and those who likes to be a butt sometimes. Being with the haunt is the most therapeutic thing to do. Get your anger out on all those people you don’t like to play nice with. At a haunt you can scare them to death. Well mostly make them piss themselves. You also will make a lot of new friends, which we like to call our freaky family. If you do ever plan on visiting America for a few months, you could try out for acting. Majority of the haunts start up around September through the end of November. Depending on what haunt you like to try out. Plus the more you come and act, the more you evolve. I even made my own character and I’m now an icon. I went from scaring people from a trash ben to being my own character. Just follow what the haunts want you to do. Majority of the haunted houses are flexible around your schedules, just let them know ahead of time if you cannot make it one night. They will understand. Do your research on the haunts you think is worth trying out. They will provide you more information.

I've never seen so much copyright infringement or unoriginal ideas in one video... Jurassic Park, Toxic Avenger, Friday the 13th, Frankenstein, Dracula, Trick 'r Treat... and I bet there were a couple more that I missed... WHAT do any of those have in common? Other than horror/Halloween movies... NEITHER of which explains why Jurassic Park is in there. No theme + Copyright infringement + no original ideas = Not impressed. Good intentions mean nothing when your delivery is non-existent.
