Hi Jon Even when you get up to 500 comments, I can't see you going back there at night. The reason is that it was frightening for you during the day, and as much as we would like for you to do so, I can't imagine anyone would want to see you get injured or worse. Thanks for the explore. It was great. Maybe you can do a night explore at a safer haunted location very soon.

Yes, comeback and do an overnighter. Never know what you might find !
@spooktatorbob48672 жыл бұрын
An over-night would be very cool. I think you should consider a couple of extra lights, such as a headlamp, and a good walking stick that doubles as self defense for an over-night in such an area.
@SwedishChef19772 жыл бұрын
I would guess the triangular shape is part of the old defense system, possibly a stronghold. A triangular shaped stronghold would give the troops a 360 degree view of the surroundings. If you look at old forts from way back in history it's not uncommon that they have triangular features, and are shaped like stars to prevent any dead angles. The dug-out area at 36:19 is likely an old quarry. Maybe for stones, or sand to make cement/concrete or something in that nature. An interesting video for sure! I love the history of places like these!

I love history like this and you have to remember what ever is in that little cave is at home. That’s it’s house lol. Thank you all for doing this video and these are my favorite. We used to go swimming at an old quarry as a teenager as we called it the Blue Lagoon it was absolutely beautiful water so clear and blue but now as an adult I realize just how dangerous it was to get there and to actually swim in it but as teenagers we had no fear lol

I can't do heights either!!! I could not walk around a place like that. It's fu ny, but sometimes I can and sometimes I can't. We were in Gatlinburg going up to Anakeesta. I had a lot of trouble on the lift up, but then I walked across the rope bridge through the trees and it didn't bother me at all!! It's crazy. That place is just scary where you are.

Be neat to dive down and look at the flooded towns. 7:26 behind your friend if you pause or snap a photo there is something standing behind him. It is cloaking itself but you can see the dark of its nose.

There are several groups that have documented the sites of civil war forts, camps, etc. I am sure the civil war history in that area could be found. Also in that area where the trench's are dug may be a place to do some EVP work !
