One of my friends lives right next to the cemetery and heard a woman weeping when he looked over the wall to see who she was there was no one there. People have told me that a ghost of woman has been seen in one of the south facing windows on the mission. People have also told me in the kitchen they've encountered a ghost at the civic auditorium. I've walked by the mission by myself around mid night once but didn't experience a sighting of the woman in the south window. That doesn't mean that it is not true i've only did my midnight walk once.

People also say that voices can be heard from the old well they covered up. Those were cries of the children who fell in.

Well that isn't right that they don't allow that. This was their land long before it was theirs. And I use that term loosely my personal feelings are it never belonged to the church they sort of grabbed that land for themselves. I m also familiar with the original location of the mission I assume they just took that land over as well. I have respect for our native community. My ancestors arrived from England on the ship the Lion. The 11th ship after the mayflower so I know damn well this land didn't belong to us. I feel a sense of injustice has been done to our native people. Recycling isn't new they recycled everything long before we decided to do it. Yeah let's wipe out the Indians and steal their land. I have a better idea let's be peaceful to these people and understand their ways. Then the land could've continued being respected and kept sacred through all creeds inhabiting this land instead of the state it's in today. The Indians knew how to respect this land and understood the abund ance this land had to offer. And Instead of taking it for granted and having it in the state it's in today. General Custard isn't a hero of mine either he deserved what he got. I read he was constantly hassleling the native people for no reason. What had they done to him? Nothing they just wanted to be respected and live in peace. This was their land not ours. He shouldn't have been messing with the Indians to begin with. He's not a hero and I shed not one tear for that man. And I'm not sorry one bit for having this dislike for a man who purposely bullied these innocent people. In my view the Indians are my heros for standing up for themselves. When you push innocent people around expect to get shoved back.

I recall hearing about an Indian ghost which walks around the church yard.

My wife and I felt cold spots around the church yard, like the temperature dropped all of a sudden.
