Very nice view of fhis beautiful spring and this early bigfoot sighting. I have the same book and read this story in the last 6-8years. Thanks for refreshing my memory. Often the Natives used such springs. Ever look for artifacts in the spring area? Friends of mine who live in the Georgetown area of Lanc. Co. have a spring on their property. They have found flakes and a few arrow heads near the spring. A great place to refresh and knap out points. And is the water at Sand Spring drinkable today? Thank You Wonderer!DaveyJO

In the 1960s in chester county, myself and 3 others saw bigfoot. He or it was watching us sledding in winter. It was standing at the woods edge...just watching. It was nearing sundown and once we saw it, we never returned. It was very tall, covered in hair, ape like and definately NOT a bear. I was 11 years old at the time, im 64 now, and i will never forget seeing sasquatch....never!

Thank you for posting these videos. Our family is from western Pennsylvania. The cold, dreary unending days in the state is why we moved south! But still keep a home there for the short summers !

What is it about PA that makes it so haunted? Between Gettysburg, including the college, the Berks Co area, even my aunt's house in Norry. I grew up in Harrisburg, PA. and there were some areas around where I lived that were just down right creepy.

In 1973 a man in a Fiat hit what he thought was maybe a bear in Rocks State park, north of Bel Air, Md., The biology teacher at Bel Air High took hair samples and sent them to 3 Universities and they came back unknown species.. He also took a plaster cast of one print which he still has and it looks like a Big Foot - thus the Bigfoot name.. Then in 1984 Bob flew to Yellowstone where an Indian hit a Sasquatch w/ his truck and the hair from the truck matched Bob's samples from Maryland.. There were several sightings along the Susquehanna river for a while and then sudden silence. . I left Bob's last name out of this to protect his privacy, but w/ a little research you can put it together and he may show you his findings. . It's called the Goat Man because it smells like a goat in heat, the male urinates on himself and that attracts the female -------- Don't try this at Home ! .

I love Pennsylvania. That Sand Spring was amazing! Wild man chose a beautiful spot. lol. I'm agnostic about bigfoot, I just do not know if it exists, but I wish it did. It would be astounding to see such a man-thing.

I have read that book, it was entitled either Ghosts of Berks County, or haunted Berks county, poorly written, horrible grammar and spelling, is that the book you are referring to? I love Berks county, I should move there, get out of Philly, maybe one fine day, sell my house and move to Berks Cty, the only obstacle is my wife , she is afraid of the woods, haha. Hood stuff man, I subbed a few days ago. Love Blue Rocks campground, my 2nd home!!

Temp in the 30's ... brrrrrr. Was 30 degrees Celsius here in Brisbane, Australia yesterday. We're having a lot of rain but it's not cold thank goodness. We need the rain to prevent bushfires from taking hold hopefully, but the downside is flooding downstream which all seems to flow toward the low-lying areas of Brisbane.

If you like Haunted Pennsylvania Places, go to, Amity Hall, just north of, Duncan Pa., the place is supposed to be haunted, ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT, great place to do at 3:00am in the morning. I'm sure that you have a very good chance of seeing something there! Either way, it would make for a really good, and scary, video. The name of the old hotel is called again, Amity Hall.

Whilst camping @ Blue Rocks, years ago, in Lenhartsville, in Pa, I heard this blood curdling inhuman scream, I wish I was recording that night, damn, I researched all animal screams, not even close, it was 0430 hours, I have never heard a scream like that ever, it was so frigin loud, so, I think that I heard the wild man of Berks County, I am not kidding, next time I go to that campground, which will be in April 2019, I shall definitely be at the ready to record, hopefully I will hear it again!!!!

For a while, Pennsylvania was the state in the US with the third highest amount of reported sasquatch encounters in the country. It's not hard to see why; it's prime habitat, if there's anything to the centuries of eyewitness reports and circumstantial evidence we have to go on. Also, I noticed at around the 7:00 mark there is a tree near that stream that's been snapped in half and there's another downed tree lying just underneath it. It could be nothing, but it has been reported that they will sometimes snap small trees in half for some reason; perhaps as a means of marking their territory or something. My advice would be to keep an eye open for anomalies like that, particularly if they seem to be isolated incidents in your immediate area.
