I think they actually go really well together. They fill in in certain spots and it just sounds awesome. They're both damn good vocalists for both styles and probably more.

Lol, I put this on the background when I was surfing through the internet and didn't read the whole description. At first didn't even realise this was a mashup with the two tracks on top of each other. Sounded so awesome I thought it was originally tracked this way. I think it should have originally been tracked this way. So good!

Usually I think these things are kind of silly... like mashing up Periphery with Jake and the newer singers... they just take such different approaches and it sounds cluttered and weird.... but these two actually complement each other so well! there's lots of trade-off and harmonization. surprisingly good!

Regardless of which vocalist is better, this track sounds amazing with both. It brings the true dynamics of the song out. Mike is a better clean singer, while Chris is better at growls. I see some collaboration going on in the future.

@markpopkie thanks, i do think the two versions sound really great together at some parts, but i think Chris compliments the structure of the song better overall.

I freakin' love this mashup! Thanks a ton for this upload. This is a superior version above both originals IMO! Just one question: Are these both versions following the same lyrics? I notice some overlap, but I can't quite tell for sure, especially after the first guitar solo. If not, can someone direct me to a site for their individual lyrics. Google is not bringing up anything unfortunately.

Gotta go with Mike here. I like Chris better as a vocalist in general but he didn't do a very good job with organizing his vocals on this song whereas Mike NAILED it imo
