PSH was such an enigma, I never know if he's just playing one of his characters. One wonders if he knew after a certain point. A true Hollywood legend, his star shines as bright as the best of them.

Remember taking the train from NJ into the city to see True West at the Ciricle in the Square. Hoffman was in the meek brother role. Amazing night. Good times. I was just sixteen I think at the time.

That was my birthday when I turned 24 which I was racing Motocross and the fastest racer in the world and it was my 2nd year. He was a great actor and we lost him and his talent from his lost battle of addiction 😢 he won't ever be forgotten 😢 he's such an amazing person to have led the life he lived and we need to cherish every moment we had with him. ❤️ 💪 😎

Why is this titled with just Hoffman's name? What about Riley? They literally both learned all the lines for both roles and switched off each night. Riley is a theater powerhouse as well. He just found a niche in silly stupid comedy.

I like them both and believe they are equally talented but I prefer Phil by about ten times. John’s voice has always irritated me.

@@desertvalleyfilms9136 you are absolutely crazy, I love John C. Reilly but if you place him in any of Phil's more serious works it would be laughable the difference in quality, whereas if you put Philip in any of John's roles, he'd do equally if not better than John imho.
