Hello, can TM-500 also be used with polyurethane or 2component epoxy based coating? thank you!

Hi! Yes, TM-500 can be used with polyurethane and 2 component epoxy. But for 2 component epoxy based coating, please finish the project before the resin is cured because it is mixed with hardener. And the sprayer must be cleaned thoroughly after use. Thank you!

@@Haupon.Sprayer Thank you! For my reference, what chemicals and/or finishes CANNOT be used for the TM-500?

@@acdlcommerce7617 You're welcome! Just make sure to avoid the use of strong acids, strong alkalis and flammable materials. By the way, When the spray difficulty happened (motor is running but paint doesn't suck from the container), you can follow the instruction p.8 figure H to clean the 2 vent holes, which are on each side of the paint tube by bamboo skewer. The spray difficulty of TM-500 usually due to dried paint stock the vent holes. Thank you!

@@Haupon.Sprayer by strong chemicals you mean solvents? Not paint/finishes?
@Haupon.Sprayer4 жыл бұрын
@@acdlcommerce7617 Yes, we don’t suggest user to spray ‘a lot of’ solvents because they are flammable materials. But there is one exception that would be okay for spraying solvents, that is, when you finish your oil-based paint project and want to clean the sprayer, you can fill small quantities of solvent into the container and spray into a second container until the solvent coming through the sprayer is free of material. We don’t suggest user to spray sanitizer either, because sanitizer is flammable materials too, For paints/finishes, TM-500 is with fixed size spray tip (2.0mm), so it is not good for some HIGH VISCOSITY paint, for example, glue, water-based flexible cement, ‘acrylic’ latex paint, stone-like texture effect paint, etc. TM-71 is more suitable for spraying those high viscosity paints because it can change spray tip size. Thank you!
