Hauptwerk V - Toccata (Plymouth Suite) - Percy Whitlock - The Armley Schulze

Today (1st May 2021) marks 75 years since the death of Percy Whitlock at the age of just 42. As a tribute, I have recorded the Toccata from the Plymouth Suite, which is one of my favourite works of his. The sample set is that of the Schulze Organ of St Bartholomew's Church, Armley. I hope you enjoy it.

Impressive playing, Ed! This toccata really shines on this sample set (of course). And good that you mark Whitlock's anniversary. Besides his organ works, also an excellent composer of choral works.
