@Gloria Sarah they are not Chadian they are Nigerian, and from the same culture as I am from and family friends to be precise. So if anyone is to know something then is someone from the same country and culture that they are from and they are Muslims fyi, and we aren't claiming any African culture but 98% of tribes under hausa ethnic are Muslim, you are trying to fight with me about my own culture which is literary based on Islam, only a Nigerian is aloud into the chat.

You are right it is Islam, Islam is beautiful because tribes under hausa ethnic are based on islam.

For those moaning about the Indian music in the beginning, why not ask first before concluding it shouldn't be there? Indian movies is what most Hausa girls grow up watching and these movies are filled with songs, this tradition has been with Hausa women for as long as I know growing up even my sisters watch it so much to the point they pretty much understand most words, I see no problem in them using Indian music when celebrating.. it's part of their hobbies

Scopps94 What is wow about it? It's all one Nigeria. We play western songs in our function all the time and it never bothers anybody.
@Scopps948 жыл бұрын
zeezeebo western music is generic and always used. But I've personally never been exposed to Hausa culture so I didn't think they played & enjoyed yoruba/southern music. Yes we are one Nigeria, but there's greatness in our differences, I don't undermine our distinct cultures just because we are one. The fact they recited the lyrics just surprised me

zeezeebo I see where she is coming from ..she wasn't exposed to Hausa culture but @Scopps94 ..what you said is like saying you didnt expect some from Lagos to learn the lyrics of an American song..yes it's not the same country but thinking they don't listen to Yoruba lyrics must mean you think they are isolated from the rest of the world which isn't true...
