I am a nurse and have been working 12hr days with no days off of 14 day rotations and on call 14 day rotations of quarantine. I know my comments are just another in a sea of magnificent comments. But I finished a challenging 12 hour day, came back to my motel room. I just needed to be lifted.... and then I chanced on this... What can I say... In South Africa we went into total lockdown on 27 March 2020. A month later, this concert was released by one of the most talented people I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Currently we are still in lockdown with less restrictions, but forecasts are that we will be facing a 4th wave of infections by December. In a country where we are constantly feeling hopeless, Stephan's performances takes me to my happy place. When I go to heaven, i hope to hear him play every day.

My Mum 97 years old just had a stroke on Sunday . I had just introduced her to Houser and benedetta and she sooo loved his music . Now she can’t move her right side can’t see/hear nor speak. What a live performance from Hauser 😍 Arena Pula in Croatia constructed in 27 BC - 68 AD as his choice of location was simply perfect, and the movements of cameras were simply strategically breathtaking. He caressed my soul with the strokes on his cello as each note filled the air with peace and hope. Even the doves were in awe of every piece of music as they majestically glided through mid air. Mother Nature allowed Hauser to grace the entire space, with the soothing sun light and blue sky as his backdrop. He was alone at one of the six largest surviving Roman arenas, but we were alone together with him. What a way to acknowledge and appreciate all the frontline workers all over the world! We appreciate you and your entire team that made this live event beautiful. Chukwu gozie gi (God bless you).

In the late 1960’s I tried singing (always alone) in the damndest places is the world due mainly to the acoustics each manmade or natural environment presented me. I often would think, what would it be like to sing, even speak on a grand large venue audio system. Of course it was never anything to do with classical opera, mostly Gorden Lightfoot, John Denver. High notes were tough, wear my throat plume out. 😧 Trayne, like you, I’ve been busy focusing on what and where my place should be, where and what shall I focus myself. I am damaged goods. Never cared for $$$, always wanted big uniformed adventure work endeavors. I got more than I bargained for in spades. But, I learned a lot. I bet yer-ah damned good voice singer. I thought I used to be. Haven’t sung a note in don’t know how many years. Cheers!
