If it wasn't clear enough, my preference has switched more towards the control end of balance, instead of speed like it was with the Hayate Otsu! Also you can get most of these pads in NA from Lethal Gaming Gear with my code haus5 for a 5% discount!

Even though I appreciate your nicely produced reviews I would advise people to always make their own decision no matter how good someone says a mousepad is. Why? I've been a long term Qck user (probably 6 years) and Artisan was widely mentioned and people generally talked bad about the Qck. I bought the "recommended" Artisan that's similar, but "better" than the Qck - the Zero. While it's an okay mousepad I'm so used to my Qck that I'm thinking about coming back to it. I'm very used to the strong stopping power the Qck provides, even in fast tracking games like Apex. The Artisan feels similar, but I always notice I'm missing that feel. I take care of my old Qck and I like the feel of it, never had a need to replace it, but I was really interested in the Artisan. You can get into a deep rabbit hole by getting into mousepads or you can stick to what works. And don't let me get started on "light mice are better for fps games". Like with everything, it's all preference.

Used to own a Qck mass for a bit when I was younger but switched to other mousepads over the year. Last year I got myself a Saturn non Pro but never really enjoyed using it for CS and idk why, felt a bit too fast on the initial glide, so I decided to buy a QCK Heavy. Ho man, for some reason the QCK just feels perfect for Tact Shooters,

The Saturn Pro just checks all boxes for me. Red colorway, below surface stitching, insane durability, a soft comfy base, and a great overall surface for Valorant. I have a 500x500 coming in June and I don't see myself buying another pad until both of my Saturn are completely worn out mudpads.

I have both the Saturn and Venus pro and I mostly play CS. I actually have been performing better with the Venus even though I mostly used control focused pads before. I'm using the qck+ right now with stitched edges and I think it's fairly underrated to. Holds up well. I've cleaned it once and it doesn't get dirty quick. It's not the thick version. It's a very consistent surface with basically zero break in. I think the majority of QCK durability issues was with the edges peeling up on older non stitched edge versions. I see a lot of people rank the fury s higher which I also have and it's trash. Very bumpy uneven surface that I'd put in dogshit tier for sure. Just ordered to aqua control 2 as I'm in Canada and it's one of the only S tier mouse pads I can get easily. Can also get artisan but have to wait a while and it costs like $120 CAD.

Opinions on the aqua control plus or 2 in a deskpad size? I am looking for a pad that i can use which is in a 900x400 format which has good glide and also stopping power. Any recommendations? I just wish artisan made pads which would be larger. I have been told that the gamesense radar is also good but with newer pads out in the market i am not sure how older pads seem to hold up nowadays. Any pad similar to the zero would be a dream for me and the base doesnt have to be special as it shouldn't move too much anyway at that size. Thanks

Hi! I've been using the regular QcK for my whole quake career but I do have issues with slow spots, humidity changes and even temperature changes that may affect humidity of the slowspots. So I end up getting used to have a somewhat wore down surface that is slower than when it's new. So if I get a new one it takes me like 3 months before I get back go my baseline performance in game. So I'm thinking of getting a hybrid instead. And since I'm cheap I was planning on getting a odin gaming infinity hybrid pad. But that didn't make it to your top list? What pad are closest to the QcK? And are there any ones out there without stitched edges? I use high sens and use like a small area/the corner of the pad actually. I don't even rest my hand on the pad but instead on the desk. So I'm always close to the corner with the placement of my mouse. Stitched edges will interfere with the fact that I sometimes cross the edge of the pad with the top section of my mouse. Do you think it's possible go cut away the stiched edges without getting too much fraying?

I highly recommend the PA Black, it’s the QcK Heavy 2.0 with a better glide and more consistency. I tried everything from the GSR to the Gamesense Radar and a handful of other pads nothing comes close to the Heavy except for the PA Black. If Vaxee releases it with stitched edges in the future, it’ll be a 10/10 mousepad.

I've got the PA Black, I even mentioned it in the video! To me the slightly softer base of the QcK edged it over the PA Black and the PB, but they are all very similar pads.

Do you have a recommendation for a gaming sleeve and in your opinion is it worth it? I play with my entire forearm on the pad so maybe it could lead to more consistency

Sleeve is worth it, but I usually use whatever I have here. Bunch of companies have sent me some and I've got few sports sleeves. All feel very similar

G-SR-SE Rouge / PA are most similar to ES2, but I prefer those both over the ES2 atm, and I doubt it will change!

Is the qck good? Ive used it since 1.6 days and i loved it but from a years back I’ve used zowie ones but the last one is pure garbage tbh, it lost its properties about 2 months in lol. If the qck is good again I would definitely buy it

I just got the ZOWIE G-SR-SE Rouge, really loving it as it is the perfect balance between speed and control but I am just concerned about it's durability. Would you recommend any mousepad with a very similar feeling but more durable? Would the Artisan Zero Mid be a suitable option ?
@hausgaming

G-SR-SE Rouge should be fairly durable! It's a great option imo. Zero Mid is also nice, but I don't like the surface as much as the G-SR-SE.

Love your vids but a criticism I have with almost every single mouse pad reviewer is, they almost solely describe pads by referencing millions of other pads. Makes sense to you reviewers and maybe even insane enthusiasts that have all 50 latest pads but For me and other laymen that only have a few pads, most of the description therefore, means nothing. Might be helpful to at least include more descriptors to help us along that are generic. Again though, love your content. Mostly watch for mice reviews but of course I like pads also. Added. The qck is always awesome pad.. Even still today. My fave was the qck mass. Wish they would bring it back.
