I love that you touch on the mental aspect as it plays big role for some people. Although, since i started using Aim Trainers i couldn't care less as of what am i using and switch things up just for fun. I've been in the "mental" trap/rabbit hole and...it was rough. Hope others can escape it too. As for the premium feel, that's the only thing that can grab me. But, honestly, i keep hearing how much Razer have improved for the past 3 years with each new release and somehow i always draw the short stick i guess, as my units either come bloated with issues or develop them within a week of use. Even my late batch DAV2 Pro that i bought just few months ago and kept it in a box has side flex already now that i've used it for 4-5 days on both sides...have quite a bit of pre and even more post-travel. Still better than my RVU where buttons have crap-ton of wobble. Unlucky.

I haven't heard any reviewers talking about the differences between the DAV3 in white and black. I picked it up in black, and it weighs one gram less than the white, and has a smooth plastic texture, similar to the old DA's. Everyone describes the white version as having a chalky texture, like my Orochi V2. People might care about these textural differences when picking a colorway, as it is not purely cosmetic.

The black and white should have the same exact texture actually, could be just some manufacturing variance on your unit!

@@hausgaming Did you get a chance to compare them directly? I just can't imagine why the black version would weigh one gram less than the white version other than the white version having some sort of additional textured coating added on top of the plastic base.

​@@bla_ank No, but I got a direct word from Razer R&D about it. There is probably UV paint on top of the white one which I assume adds less than 1g of weight.

I've always been a fan of the egg shape, I liked the g305, but it would be nice to get an updated version of it. The Orochi v2 is a little bit too small so I think I'll like the Aria XD7, which I just ordered. Thanks for the review! =)

Rather EC3 or Model D- wireless. I really like EC3 and D- approach - keep the width, reduce the lenght. Skoll-S and Xlite mini feel ridiculously small.

Hi, I have some questions regarding the Aira. 1. Can you use the mouse in wired mode even if you remove the battery from the mouse? I'm curious to know this because I like the mouse but I intend to use it in wired mode. I fear that if the battery dies, then I can't get a replacement and I have to change the mouse completely. Also, I don't want to plug out the usb c cable and plug it in everyday. 2. If you keep the Aria plugged in to the usb c cable even when it is fully charged and PC is off, does the mouse keep taking in power or does the PC need to be on always for the charging to happen?

@@hausgaming , it's clear, but deathadder for 160$ od compare :). My point is, that i need small wireless mice, and since over 100$ is not an option, i can see pulsar x2 mini a good competitor to this, same specs, small form factor, close price.

the problem with the aria for me is that in europe the price tends to be more around 80 - 100 EUR. Probably still gonna buy it since there is a good chance its gonna be my endgame shape

80 euros is decent, in US they have to pay VAT on top of that so it'll end up being pretty much the same.. But 100 euros starts to be a bit much for it imo!

Where is that? Aliexpress as per recommended by Fantech or somewhere else? Tho, i can't find the mouse anywhere but on their site, i don't know how you found it in Italy or Belgium as they still struggle with stock. Either way, the msrp being 58$, rather wait for the Aliexpress restock in a week or two rather than paying scalpers.

I actually use 1440p! Biggest reason is that I want to use the same resolution on ALL games (including aim trainers)

You dont specify if you use 1000Hz or 4000Hz Polling rate, what do you use? do you notice a difference? What about battery time etc. Is 4k HZ worth it for cs?

4KHz of course, always the fastest polling rate available. I notice the visual differences, it's impossible to tell if you can feel the latency benefits without placebo. I would say 4KHz is worth it for any game, but it's definitely not necessary!

Are the aria clicks light and spammable in general compared to other mice you use like the GPX? Mostly interested in comparison with the GPX as it was light and spammable for me and I want to keep that feeling while getting a better shape.

They are lighter than the GPX clicks. Generally when I call clicks spammable and light, they are light enough for almost everyone! Big fan of light clicks here 💪

I hold the mouse the same as you do . Does the death adder mouse 2 interfere with your ring finger. For instance I am unable to use the glorious model d because of this, but can use the outset and g703.

Thanks Haus! I have DAV3 on the way, no Aria (yet... You know I'll probably get it 😉). I think I've found for me, stability in the mouse with mobility in the pad is best. I personally do best with faster pads like Raiden or Tiger esports grandmaster, paired with bigger and stable mice like outset ax, GPX, or xm1r. I, of course, like to switch up my mouse and pad all the time, but I tend to play my best in that scenario.

Grandmaster is...weird. Surface feel nice to the touch and the it's really not all that fast, but it's so smooth it makes it feels slick. Am excited for the new Raiden and i think this time i'll go with the xsoft as the mid is not a vibe.

Hi haus !! Would you prefer the DA V3 pro shape also over the EC2 even when the EC2 is wireless ?? I love the EC2 and also tried the model d but the model D is just slightly to big for me 🙈

I'm not Haus but the DA V3 is about the same size as the Model D. I prefer the EC2 over the DA V3, the DAV3 is longer and fills up your palm more at the back and the right side is pretty flat.

​@@warriormate1337 I own it but I'm gonna return it. It doesn't feel like a premium mouse to me. It has slight creaking where I rest my thumb, the scroll wheel is super loose (unusable in game but nice for browsing), coating feels a little bit cheap and chalky and the mouse is too long and too flat on the sides for my liking, right side feels like placing my ring and pinky on an ambi mouse. I did like the clicks though they might not have the nicest sound but they are very good in game and the weight and weight balancing is perfect.

It's the same MCU as Lamzu.. All 3395 out atm have this apart from G-Wolves, XM2W will also have a different MCU.

Also worth mentioning the more expensive product is backed by a bigger company that's more likely to stand by their product if something goes wrong. This coming from someone stuck with a busted xlite.

Plenty of cases where Razer ghost customers until they turn to Reddit and set them on fire. Suddenly, they have time to pay attention once you call them out publicly. Their customer support is rather disappointing for a company of this size.

@@3ildcard You have to remember that those with negative experiences are always loud, people with positive experiences do not make reddit posts. Razer sells A LOT of mice and quality control is there to make sure that 99% of the units work as designed, something always gets through!
