I love your mixer reviews Amy. You don't just give your opinion, you actually show us how they perform. I have watched many as I am trying to find the perfect light weight mixer that performs well for mixing bread doughs. Important for those of us with arthritis and are no longer able to knead our dough by hand. Still looking, still watching. Thank You

Seems a great buy for the price it is. Good entry level model without being too flimsy. Interesting video as usual

i am so excited to bring my bread machine out to try your dinner rolls. I havent used it in awhile so perfect excuse. I am getting a stand mixer for Christmas. Its the Tower brand. I have an air fryer from them performs well so i trust the brand. It was a blackfriday deal of £60 ($72) . It is meant to be £90 ($108) but goes for much higher on different websites. Max being £110 ($132). I am so excited. I have been binge watching your videos for days now. You and your husband have such great energy. I love it.

So good to know that I'm not that far behind using a 1968 Sunbeam that has 450 watts. I would have thought they would be manufacturing German mixers in the 800 watt range by now. So an increase of only 100 watts, to 550 watts is not going to make that much difference to me. Although, after holding the mixer for 30 minutes, I cannot use my arms for a week. 😭 Nearly 60 and in massive pain in neck, shoulders, arms etc. 😫😩

Hi Amy and Eric.Just thought I’d let you in on a useful tip,stolen from Lidia Cooks! She always puts the flour on a piece of parchment paper and then folds it and pours it into her mixer.It really works,with no spills!.Stay safe guys,we are getting there!

Hi Amy, Thanks for another terrific review. It seems to be a good mixer, especially for the price. The shape of the dough hook reminded me of the shape of the Kenwood one. One thing I don't like is the plastic housing at the top of the tools (where they attach on the tool shaft). If the plastic breaks, then can a person buy a replacement tool, or is that it? Thanks again!

I had to pause it because I am laughing so hard right now!! I really like this one. Did you ever imagine Amy that you would get a lot of really fun stuff like this when you started out?!

Hi Amy! What is your opinion about the PRO 600 KITCHENAID??? Thank you!

Saw this on Amazon. I think the main feature this mixer has is that the paddle and dough hook are stainless steel which you never see with mixers in this price range. If I didn't already have a stand mixer, I'd consider it just for that.

This is the best reason I could think of for purchasing this unit. I came here to see if she would let me know if it was plastic or metal. I LOVE THE LOOK but will only purchase if metal housing.
@Soul.7 Жыл бұрын
@@arleneportsmouth1263 I found out today that Hauswirt HM780, the upgraded version. has a full metal housing, stainless steel for all 3 mixing blades, a 1800 watt motor, a slightly larger 5.5L s/s bowl, dB noise reduction, and a stylish more retro design, in the sky blue colour. A bit more expensive but more power to it, and so gorgeous looking. Just the stainless steel blades alone instead of the common aluminium and teflon coating, (toxic if they peeling off into the food) is calling me, and is super great news!

Just used mine for the first time. Was making German Chocolate cake. It would NOT cream the sugar and butter to a fluffy consistency! I tried the paddle and the whisk. All it did was stick to the side of the bowel! Lots of scraping. Never fluffed. I eventually pulled out my old KitchenAid to finish my project. Has any one else experienced this???? My first instinct was to return it. But I'd like to hear more reviews on experiencing the mixer.

Hi would it have been easier to add the ingredients with the guard attached as I noticed it had a opening in the guard
@chineeboy183 жыл бұрын
This mixer looks and performs really nice. It reminds me of the Farberware, which performed just as good in the same price range. The only difference with this one is 1). slighter bigger built. It looks bulky. 2). the clearance room for adding ingredients while mixing from what I see is very small (as you pointed out in the video) and 3) the noise. This mixer is loud. Given the price, this looks like a great mixer. Nice review guys. You all always deliver on these standmixer review. 🏆💯

The future, can you do a video series on the most compact stand mixer, and the most quiet quietest mixers in terms of motors? I’m in an apartment setting, and don’t have much space for a stand mixer. But, I have a sensitivity to sound and can’t stand loud motors once on a high-speed setting. , And dexterity issues make it impossible for me to get a handmixer

@@EricLearnstoCook Plus it kinda almost looks huge!!
@EricLearnstoCook3 жыл бұрын
I don't think the mixer looks 'huge'. I think it has average weight. It's not the lightest and not the heaviest. I think it's a good weight for people not wanting to move around heavier ones.

It’s 160.00. I just looked. I hate my Kitchen Aid. I threw it in my hall closet last week! The paint from the beaters comes off in my dough. Even the new ones I bought.
@EricLearnstoCook3 жыл бұрын
Oh no that's too bad about the paint. Guess Whirlpool Corp isn't making enough money so they're using bad paint? This mixer has a coupon, but was cheaper last week. Wonder if the price went up because it's a Monday (and will be lower in a day or two?).
@sashineb.21143 жыл бұрын
I've heard of other people with the same chipped paint happening on the attachments. KitchenAid needs to smarten up, by using all stainless steel tools, and putting the spring/washer back on the tool shaft. And making the mixers last longer like they use to do.
@sashineb.21143 жыл бұрын
@@EricLearnstoCook I don't have a scraper beater for my 1989 KA. I don't think they make them for the K5 models. I don't mind doing a bit of scraping, and I have a Wilton curved spatula made for KA bowls. Why on Earth won't they go back to making better attachments? Mine don't chip. The nylon is really thick on them. That issue of removing the spring/washer is really annoying. Clank clank clank.
@EricLearnstoCook3 жыл бұрын
@@sashineb.2114 I don't think Amy has any issues with paint on her KA beaters. Wonder if that is a new issue? Yes, that missing spring on KA mixers. I can't resist pointing that out. 1989 is vintage. That's great.
@sashineb.21143 жыл бұрын
@@EricLearnstoCook Yeah, I've seen lots of comments on videos where people say the coating (paint) on the paddle flakes off. Nobody wants paint chips in their food. KA is obviously not using the same method when they made the older nylon-coated ones. I've never had a problem with mine. Also, my whisk is entirely stainless steel. This 1989 mixer is terrific. I should get it re-greased, though.
